I’ve often wondered how much sibling rivalry or jealousy Harry has had over the royal throne and the kids line up etc. It seems like it could cause some issues. Harry was a wild one and I wonder if that might be one of the reasons why.

The baby boy was born at 5:26am U.K time so he was already born when the labour announcement was made. I understand them wanting to have private family time together first.

I think Harry is lucky in a way that he doesn’t have the serious responsibility and workload Prince William will have later in life when he is King and his son won’t have that burden either. Meeting the Prime Minister once a week, official parliament business, reading official documents, signing laws etc are just some of the boring things you have to do as Monarch it isn’t all fun and glamour.

Princess Diana’s Brother sent out this lovely tweet:

“While Charles Spencer, Harry's uncle, said: "Really very lovely news today - many, many, congratulations! (Good to have another Taurean in the family....)"

IIRC, the were never competitive about it before. Harry used to be very honest about not envying William his future in preparing to be king. I always had the impression Harry was happy to not be the heir and was going to enjoy living his life without that responsibility.

That seems to have changed recently according to the gossip columns. The growing divide between Harry and his wife and William and his family has been disappointing. I hope it's resolved and the brothers are able to be close again. William will be king, its a job he's been preparing for most of his life. He'll do very well.

Yayyyyyyyy no more waiting. :)

I see a lot of guesses on the name but it might be possible that they go with none of them and they pick something totally out of the ordinary that has nothing to do with past royal names.. After all this baby is not next in line and Meghan is not native to the country so she might want to put her spin on a different new name.

Even though I am not a fan of MM , she deserves happiness and privacy. Hoping reconciliation with her Dad happens since he played a huge part in her life as a single parent. Protocol was different this time around and looks like everyone is content which is good.
