Always something to complain about. Adults or preschoolers?

"You gave him a bigger cookie, first, you don't like me!.". (Whiney voice). Really?

Yeah, I just got to reading it. But the tone of the article is really snotty.

I think Megan looks lovelier than she ever has in those photos with Harry and their son

She really does look better with a few more pounds to fill out her face and her hair less constrained.

Their photos are very touching

Her face looks great. She looks a bit more like her mother in this photo-op.

I was watching a clip of Princess Diana holding one of her newborns and noticed she is walking really uncomfortably, almost waddling. I then remembered the interview where Diana said it was maddening for her to have to present herself so soon after giving birth. She never got a moments rest (according to her in the video). Poor woman only wanted some sleep, rest, and to be alone with her baby and her husband (according to her).

Ladies, aren't you glad you didn't have a camera crew following you around post-partum? :)

LOL, I'd suck it up if I got to live like Meghan.

I am with Sherwood...I would not trade my life for hers for a hundred million dollars! I guess it's the difference in all of us as to who likes a low lifestyle, and who would like to be married to a royal and in a fishbowl and having to follow decorum for everything I did.

Nope, not for me!

Agreed. I wouldn't want to be a princess. Looks like a lot of work to me. Dieting. Always looking perfect, having to spend time with relatives you don't like. Forget it.

Always wearing those danged heels!

Okay, well, let's consider being more like HRH Princess Anne:

I wore heels until age 40 or so, then, sensible shoes ever since! Alegria, my "go to".

Munro in my closet.

Ha! MuckBoots! I have 3 pairs. A must have for Montana. We have a Spring season of months of slush and mud. Forget shoes.

What is everyone's favorite movie or show about the British royals? There is a new series on Amazon Prime, "Spanish Princess" about Queen Catherine of Aragon. It just started last week. So far, I love it!

Waiting impatiently for season 3 of the Crown on Netflix . Shamelessly admit I have a little crush on Matt Smith. I’ll own it. Also Victoria on PBS. I’m a bit behind on that one

I really think Harry has been very much damaged by his mother's death and having to be in The Firm at the same time. Sometimes he seems to have grown up, then I get a little glimpse of the guy hiding his pain by being the funny one, the party guy, the cheery loose cannon. The birth announcement photos made me feel like Meghan brings him a maternal, mature figure to help him out. I mean maternal, mature in a good way. Harry with the child almost seemed overwhelmed. I think he really has a lot of issues and everyone is just happy that Megan has at least got him headed towards adulthood. I also think there will be another baby, in the not too distant future.

Focusing on being a family unit will be very very good for him

I just want gardeners. That's all I want. Oh and a beautiful garden for the gardeners to work in. Oh and a housekeeper too....

She got to spread her wings and try things that Harry may not have been able to do (even though we have seen the Vegas pics). She supported herself by working. Harry grew up in the lap of luxury and really never had to really work like us average folks for a living. Meghan set goals and worked towards them (whether we like her goals or not). She was determined. I would expect her to be way more mature than him.
I get the impression something not really well known (or isn't brought up much?) is Harrys military career?

Even thou that is true, he never had to really work for a living, he not only chose to, (enlisted in British Army) he also chose & actually did fight for his country.

(which he had to fight with his 'country' to be abe to do so. <grammar apologies>

How Prince Harry's military career makes him a hardcore noble
"After graduating in April 2006, he became an armored reconnaissance troop leader in a unit scheduled to deploy to Iraq. When Defense Secretary John Reid stopped him from deploying, Prince Harry is quoted as saying

"If they said 'no, you can't go front line' then I wouldn't drag my sorry 🤬🤬🤬 through Sandhurst and I wouldn't be where I am now."

Prince Harry didn't just accept this order. He was determined to fight with his brothers and lead his troops. He finally got that chance in June 2007 when he was secretly allowed to deploy to Helmond Province..."

He was deployed to Afghanistan (twice) actively engaged in fighting the Taliban in numerous combat missions

So while I also understand his past behaviour causing outrage & upsetting many, undoubtedly, knowing many, many Squadies personally (& the antics they get up to o_O)
He doesn't get the full respect he deserves.
I think it's all a bit unfair.
And it just kinda bugs me!! ;)

For what it's worth...

I've always thought he looked more like 'a Punk' at the party ... ;)
** dressed as in the 'Vivien Westwood style' **

Our Aussie sense of humor in this cartoon of the new Royal arrival, baby Archie. Drawn by Paul Zanetti who is a very popular cartoonist and is often spot on in political satire.

I keep hearing Archie & Jughead comments, and I've never heard of them!
Are they well known here in the UK?
