I agree, Gardenista. Same brand, very similar, not attractive, and that is gonna really accent a post-partum middle.

It's just baffling to me. She can have anything she wants and she picks something that doesn't even look good on a tall skinny model.

No, I think it started a little before he was born.

I do notice when she appears privately her style is different than her royal appearances.

It sure attracts a lot of press and keeps her front and center.

I’m not Simply Southern, but I would say that since her wedding Meghan has often worn clothing that overpowers her and is too big and sloppy. Nothing has really changed since Archie was born IMO. She doesn’t seem to have a sense of proportion or best colors. Then sometimes she knocks it out of the park. But it’s hit and miss more than it should be IMO.

If you notice the outfits MM is wearing in the article, they are well fitting and do look good on her. Something has changed.

I think MM’s exhausted, living in the no sleep zone. She looked well rested the other day with her friends at Wimbledon. Today she looks tired.

It may take her body a little longer to bounce back due to her age. Things do start to change coming up on 40 I noticed.

Also, on a petite gal, five lbs. (or British equalivent which I can never understand, lol) shows a lot more than on someone of Kate’s height.

I do think Kate could put on ten lbs. —she’d go from wirey to slender.

Thanks! I thought you meant he made a comment about why she wears what she wears. I guess “she lives her life” and wears what she likes is the implied answer. But, but, but I just want her to look her best!

Megan’s skirt was not appropriate material for the sporting event IMO. Add to that her baby weight pulls the eyes to her expanded waist which defines the mismatch of whites. A total failure of a $1,000 outfit!

But Kate doesn’t come out on top as her dress was too dark and too tight. It is summer, why a fall color? Sage is out for summer this year, however, Kate’s dress was not Sage. Wonder if Kate is gaining weight? It’s unlike her to wear a dress that is too tight. First sign of pregnancy? I do believe she will have another baby. JMO.

Pippi, didn’t like the ruffles. I am just not a fan of the material, it reminds me of the fabric of Charlotte’s dresses.
The dress Kate had on at the Polo game was great. it wasn’t so childish looking. Probably due to the material.

Omg, I think she looks so pretty!!

Her hips have certainly widen considerably! since she had Archie.

I think it is great and that is fantastic for women to see..... Kate went back to freaking size 2 a month after having her 3rd! Hahaha ( not begrudging her it’s just her body type lol)

She looks like she is getting also, shall I dare say

She is probably trying to get comfortable in her new body? (that is so hard for new moms when they are the type that their body just changes a lot)

Do you think it's possible Meghan had a c-section? I don't want to start rumours, but I'm starting to wonder. Her mid section still looks bigger and I can't get over how uneven it was when she did the first media photo op.
Or, as you say, she might be getting used to her new body (and baby )

Her face looks much fuller, but I love that it's making her look so much like her mother. She's got good maternal genes, her mother looks great!

When I see comments about Meghan being petite, it amuses me as height wise I don’t think she is.

Just checked our good friend google and Meghan is 5’6”tall. Believe me, that is far from being petite! I am the same height and throughout my life am often the tallest female in a group! Have always been considered tall.

Kate is 5’9”. Now she is a tall woman. When Meghan is beside Kate, Meghan may look like she is “petite”, however, the petite comes from Meghan’s small frame and thin body.

Interesting that Meghan is not going back to skinny right away. Because she is nursing, she may be eating more because of the baby.

I think the first is not a good choice for a post-partum woman, gonna really draw attention to her midsection.

But I really like the other 3.

The 3rd one, the sleeveless navy/white more abstract print looks very much like something she would choose.

Personally, I really love the plaid shirtdresses. They do look cool and fresh for summer. She can't be that large that she wouldnt be able to wear one of those.

And another thing about the skirt she wore: It's 100% polyester. I thought she and Harry were being promoted as very eco-conscious in their $3million home renovation ( the explanation for that copper tub).

So why isn't she wearing natural fabrics, not those made from petroleum products, huh? There are many many really lovely organic cotton and linen pieces out there. She really never has to ever wear polyester again !

Agree... and, Meghan’s skirt looks polyester, the thick no wrinkle kind. And her shirt looks like thick chambray cotton.

Both Meghan’s and Kate’s outfits looked too heavy, color, material, especially for midday. — I’m overheated just looking at them.

Oh, gotta be careful in the eco conscious “woke” department... there’s cotton, and then organic... there’s ethical wool which I’m actually totally for, all about. —But then there are things like vegan leather which is actually plastic... and given our disposable ways, all that vegan leather will never biodegrade in the landfill or ocean...

And some of these new materials like tencel just disintegrate after two years.

And they are finding materials like super disposable fleece is super bad for the environment. Its micro particles end up in water from the washer...

Ok, I’m on a roll, I read that JPG Jean Paul Gaultier is campaigning to try and stop fashion houses from burning tons of clothes that don’t sell...

I do like how Kate recycles her outfits. It sets a great example. And great, well made clothing should last a lifetime.

The Sunday Morning TV news in Australia today has been speculating about Kate’s “pregnancy glow” due to her glowing appearance at Wimbledon yesterday. I’m not in Australia unfortunately it came up on my YouTube account. If they do have another child they are going to need a royal minibus to get around.

I "used" to know! LOL! Something in Latin if I recall right.... maybe first word Libra.

So you are saying 1 stone = 14 lbs? I watch boxing over here & sometimes they are from England & they give the weight in stones, so trying to figure that out. I think I have Celsis down now! Taking a while with meters & kilos. LOL! Hey, I've only been here 2 1/2 years. So I think I'm doing pretty good considering I never learned these "things" in school in the U.S. I do recall when they "tried" to go metric!!
