She doesn’t allow the family to eat starches or garlic

This makes sense: Who wants bad breath and/or bloating while dining with the Queen (or she with others)?

In this set of photos, does anyone see a gray-ish haired lady just behind a pillar staring intently at the Duchess of Cambridge? She is just outside the Royal box, stands in all but one or two photos. There are 4-5 of her being positioned sideways so as to stare.

I'm probably hyper acutely aware of those who fixate on one person, but this lady is unusual to me. They are not shots reproduced from a different angle, but taken at different points in the service. I made sure it wasn't one photo reproduced several times.

Does anyone, perhaps in the U.K. who posts here, know if this might be a security details person, or maybe a member of government? I'd feel much better if she were. Note- no harm meant by commenting on what I see as being intent and unusual.

Sorry I don’t know who she is. I don’t recognise her and don’t think she is a security details person or a member of the government.

I noticed the grey haired lady right away too. Looking at the photo the only person she could be starting at is Kate. Such a strange stare. Maybe someone will recognize her. It has to be some one of importance to this day, to the RF, or she is with someone of importance. Strange.

Who is invited into the boxes other then the family?

I relooked at the photo. The man next to her is very tall and he has an award located in the middle of his chest. I am sorry, I do not know foreign awards. Perhaps her husband, maybe someone recognizes him?

Yes it’s a little unsettling she is glaring at the Duchess maybe she is just star struck. The Royal Family often invite people from charities to sit in boxes beside them I think that might be why she is there.

Don’t worry they have heavy security nobody would be able to do the Duchess or anyone from the family harm. They have 24/7 armed security who are ex-military.

They have so much class and decorum. Stability always even when there were wars. Refreshing change to see this in the world. Honor. A stately presence.

Thank you so much for your post. I've been concerned for Duchess Catherine. There's been news that Meghan has an internet stalker, I think it is.. Right after, I saw the photos of the woman glaring at Kate. Made me stop and wonder.

Thank you for such a solidly reassuring answer. I looked for their security detail and actually, saw none, which did little to allay my concern for Kate.

A lot of the security staff are in normal clothing to blend in. With the terrorist attacks they aren’t going to take any chances with the Royal Family. The Duchess of Cambridge has armed security with her at all times even when going to the supermarket so please be assured it is highly unlikely anything will happen to her.

I saw the threats to the Duchess of Sussex on Instagram my guess is it is silly teenage girls who are jealous of her but I wouldn’t be surprised if the posters get a visit from law enforcement or the security service. The Duchess also has armed security with her at all times they won’t be taking any chances with her safety or the baby.

There may have been a prearranged agreement for any one of the aides to work only for a limited time....like the first 6 months to get the couple through the wedding and first months of marriage, along with the tour. Also, we do not know if family or health situations changed for the aides during this time frame either. I think that even though it is odd for 3 aides to leave at it just may be coincidence
