Interesting that the Queen and the future Queen Consort both wore purple to the event. Gorgeous on both of them!

Thank you for such a solidly reassuring answer. I looked for their security detail and actually, saw none, which did little to allay my concern for Kate.
When squinting to try and find the mysterious staring lady, I noticed that one of the photos appears to show what looks like the main actor in Suits next to Kate (in the next box along). I was kind of hoping that the glaring grey haired lady would be Theresa May but alas, I think it is just a woman who is appropriately solemn for the occasion and is probably glancing at the crowd beyond Kate. If we're looking at the same person.

If I knew how to take the 4 photos with the lady in them and circle the woman with a direct line drawn to Kate, you'd clearly see her. She appears to be making an effort to keep her eyes on Kate. She's definitely not scanning the crowd or watching the ceremony but does have her head turned away from the camera in one picture. I believe she's standing in all the published photos as well, for some reason.
I know what Theresa May looks like, :).

I wish we knew the price of these custom outfits all that Alexander McQueen and the Duchess of Sussex’s numerous Givenchy outfits won’t be cheap. Mind you Prince Charles should be thankful they don’t wear Chanel Haute Couture they can reach €200,000 an outfit.

It is sad Princess Diana didn’t like Chanel as the two c’s intertwined reminded her of Charles and Camilla’s initials together.

I’ve only seen the Duchess of Cambridge wear Chanel once.

So surprising considering his past.

He showed the world how mental health intervention can change a person. He is strong, sensitive, adorable.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

Prince Harry is the most popular royal, according to a new You Gov survey.

The Duke of Sussex beats the Queen to first place, with 77 per cent of the public having a positive opinion about the father-to-be, ahead of 74 per cent for the monarch. Prince William is in third place with 73 per cent.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....ake-popular-royal-crown-according-survey/amp/

I did the maths: % of those surveyed (total 3600+) who approve of each member of the royal family:

1. Harry 77%
2. The Queen 74%
3. William 73%
4. Kate 64%
5. Phillip 56%
6. Meghan 55%
7. Charles 48%
8. Anne 47%
9. Zara 43%
10. Camilla 29%
11.Sophie 28%
12. Edward 27%
13.Beatrice 25%
14. Eugenie 24%
15. Andrew 22%

I guess that puts Peter Phillips at no16!

Camilla and Andrew had the highest disapproval rating at 36% each, Will & Harry the lowest at 7% each. Surprised Eugenie didn't score higher but as the survey ran May-Oct I suppose many had voted before the success of her wedding.

I agree. Kate has grown into the "regal" role. Her looks are changing and maturing, and she handles it all well (though in my personal opinion I'd like to see a bit more weight on her, but that's a bit personal, I know).

I think she is solid, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does as her role expands over the years. As much as I liked Diana, I think Kate suits the role better (and by "better," I guess I mean she is more of what is expected).

Happy 70th Birthday to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. I am thankful for all the charity work the Prince does through the Prince of Wales Trust which helps young people.
