I like these photos of Charles and Anne growing up and old together. I was in the first batch of baby boomers (born 1/46), almost three years older than Charles (born 11/1948) and almost four years older than Anne (born 4/50), so as a child they fascinated me because we were so close in age. Although they were kids like me, needless to say, our lives were very different. Watching the coronation in June 1953 on a neighbor’s TV was a thrill for 7 year old me.

I have concerns the relationship won’t last but I really hope for Archie’s sake they do not separate. It is difficult enough being a young married couple without the serious changes and challenges they are going through. Hopefully they will make it.
Realistically, without getting into personalities and motivations, they come from such different worlds I can't imagine how they can last long term. What can they possibly have in common? Once they are past the honeymoon/hormone stage, how can they possibly relate to each other?

Wow, he really looks awful. I think reality is starting to set in.

Yes, he looks very unwell, under a lot of stress. His family is probably thinking they just have to let this situation play out. Harry's a grown man who has to make his own choices and learn from life's experiences. I hope they continue to keep the Queen's guard for security, or one with an open channel of communication to Harry's family. I hope he has someone he can reach out to if he needs help. His behavior, JMO, indicates someone who is involved in a psychologically abusive relationship.

OTOH, Meghan seems very happy!

ETA: I'm still confused on the exact reason they're making this drastic change. One time, it's to get away from the BRF, another time it's to get away from the news media (which isn't likely to change when one is launching a "global brand" business), other times its to start a new business. The one constant is, regardless of reason, there's "no other option".

She was a 35yr old divorcee, not a teenager like Diana. She had plenty of time to watch how this very traditional ancient family lived and worked. She just wanted the fame and the luxury. When it came to doing any work among the people of Britain (see Princess Anne ) she had no gumption. She is not a person who keeps promises that's for sure. When something offers her more of what she wants, she is off.

He will end up walking 3 paces behind her, being her manager, booking agent and driver.

Poor guy gave up everything. Will it be worth it? Probably not. Thank goodness the RF will "review" this arrangement in one year. JMO

Didn’t I hear that they’re in negotiations with Tim “Apple” Cook to produce the Royal Sussex iPhone model which will be coming out with phone cases with the Sussex logo? I’d buy one in a heartbeat! Of course, there will be an extra charge for the base model and quite a lot more for the gold leaf.

Sources say the 24 carat gold case has an undisclosed price. It depends on the price of gold the day that you buy it.

They’ve really hit the ground running! JMO MOO
Unfortunately it's sad and quite trashy to make money off from a family that a person showed no interest in. JMO

Agree, its rather shocking to make unkind, unsubstantiated accusations about your husband's family while furiously working to make a million by exploiting that family name. I think the word I'm looking for is mercenary.
