The iPhone was a joke. :) I thought it would be obvious because it was so over-the-top, but I guess not.
JMO MOO
I got the joke and I was just stating my opinion that many ppl wouldn't want a phone case with Sussex royal on it. So much to do in the world with out having to brand materialistic objects and pitching ideas before getting actual approval from the Queen. The queen is smart, one year and there will be a review. Yes, gorgeous ensemble outfit and color on Kate. What I like about her style is its effortlessness, and her always perfectly coiffed hair. She has the height and can wear practically anything.

And, TY Gardenista for the Kate blog link. I didn’t know there was one.

Sofia’s dress felt a little summery to me. It’s january, brrrrr!

You know, I don’t usually read British tabloids, papers etc., and so I really thought M & H were exaggerating and whining about the press. I mean, they are ALWAYS horrible to RF members—especially new ones. I remember what they said about Kate and Fergie.

But now that I’ve actually gone back and looked at what’s been in the press about MM since the beginning, it is on a different level. It is almost all negative and MOO is that it’s undeniable she’s faced racism, sexism and plain old mean girls vitriol to an extreme.

She really was in a no-win situation. If she did something nice it was spun as self serving/ publicity seeking, and if she stayed quiet she was ridiculed for expecting privacy. No matter what one thinks of her I don’t see how anyone can say the press hasn’t been awful to her from the start.

It’s no wonder they decided to leave.
She is laughing all the way to the bank.
Fortunately she kept her clothing in storage in Toronto, kept her business manager, agent and entertainment lawyer available just in case she found the British media too hard on her, or the job too boring . <modsnip>
JMO of course.

Isn’t it ironic that none of us claim
to read and believe the gutter press (which I think is generally true, most UK citizens have been offended by them at one point or another and take them with a pinch of salt), but rather than how the public felt about them (and I never heard anyone say anything against MM) or the even more mainstream press treated them- we now have to agree that she was treated badly and we are a racist country and all disliked her.

Oh dairy me, what's he done that for?! Bit cheesy.
Milk is much better to endorse than flipping a hamburger in a racy men's health video, JMO

Thank you - silly me I forgot he wasn’t going to be living there full time - it still feels sad to me as I recall all the pictures of him growing up - he seemed to love the military life

The internally linked article was really lovely, I thought:

Harry ends military posts as part of 'Megxit'

Former First Sea Lord, Lord West expressed his regret over Harry stepping down from his military appointments.

“The whole situation is extremely sad and I think it is unfortunate, after his splendid service in the military, that he will now no longer be involved with the military in the UK,” he said.

The Queen is head of the Armed Forces, and military appointments form part of official duties, meaning Harry could not continue them as he walks away from royal life.

He is continuing his work with the Invictus Games, the competition he set up for sick, injured and wounded servicemen and women.

He admitted after serving in Afghanistan for a second time in 2012 that he was more comfortable being Captain Wales than Prince Harry.

“I’ve always been like that. My father’s always trying to remind me about who I am and stuff like that,” he said. “But it’s very easy to forget about who I am when I am in the Army.”

Glad he gets to continue with Invictus and Sentebale, they seem to be the campaigns closest to his heart.
He will represent them in a private way, not with his military titles unfortunately. He lost a lot of history and hard work...sad...JMO

Definitely. Harry is behind them, that's all that matters to the lads

So for those who watch The Crown, did you like Olivia Coleman as QE in season 3? I ADORED her although it took me an episode or so to get used to the new actors. I thought she was wonderful.

I also loved the actor who plays Philip. I loved him in Outlander too although his character was so yucky.

I think the show is so so good, and it’s a little bit of a history lesson in each episode.
