Actually, both Bea & Eugenie have great figures I think. Very classical and womanly. Their fashion is fun because it can be a surprise hat to end all hats, and I thought Eugenie was the bride of the year. I loved everything about her wedding dress and look.

Her dress and wedding were so beautiful. I loved the decor, too, and all the beautiful flowers done in those autumnal jewel tones. Just fantastic.

LOL the DM points out that the Meghan, Duchess of Sussex styling is incorrect as it would only be used for a divorced woman. But they also used Harry, Duke of Sussex, so I'd have thought it a bigger story that the courtiers messed up and gave Harry a divorced woman's title by accident!

Sounds like they're going to remain the Duke & Duchess of Sussex after all. Decision due in due course

So for those who watch The Crown, did you like Olivia Coleman as QE in season 3? I ADORED her although it took me an episode or so to get used to the new actors. I thought she was wonderful.

I also loved the actor who plays Philip. I loved him in Outlander too although his character was so yucky.

I think the show is so so good, and it’s a little bit of a history lesson in each episode.

I thought the actor playing Prince Philip looked a lot like William, and could just as easily have been chosen to play William.

I'm enjoying the bits of history in the series, and the way they portray a little 'theory' of what might have been happening behind the scenes in those momentous moments.

I don't watch The Crown but have you heard Spitting Image is coming back after nearly 25 years (eek, where's that gone?)? Wonder what they'll do with the Royals this time.

Back in 1996 the main royal characters were:

Other members who were parodied include: the sex-obsessed Prince Andrew, the envious and heavily freckled Sarah, Duchess of York, the grumpy Princess Anne, the poorly informed Prince Edward, the Panzer-driving Princess Michael of Kent, and the always tipsy Princess Margaret.
Who wants to place odds on Prince Phil being the cabbie this time round?

Who knows. Maybe Archie did something cute, maybe one of the people behind said something funny. A pic is a nano second in time. I just choose to see it in a positive light. That's just me.
So you are assuming they are constantly snapping without interference from the security behind and her utter unhappiness and then caught that perfect snap, even though this goes against everything she wants.

Yes she is. She got what she wanted. Her home turf. It was not racism which is very easy to play . And PH lost a lot of hard work. Will it be worth it...sigh JMO
I feel very sorry for PH. He was elaborately clear to all his girls what married life would be like, and most were honest enough to bail out early, not take the job then claim shyness around the media. Our media is extremely aggressive and by the looks of things MM loves being the center of attention, and did not love being in Kate’s shadow, and not being the boss. Her best friend in Canada seems quite superficial ,and that’s apparently what MM prefers, despite claiming otherwise. PH has given up an awful lot. Once he is among the LA set with all the materialisim I think he will regret departing the royal family. They are in very good taste. The notion that MMwanted a simple lifestyle is belied by renting a 14 million dollar mansion from a Russian millionaire.

I'm hopeless at all the Duke stuff. I hope I never miss the million quid question because it's "where is Prince whoever duke of?"

Canadians walk their babes even in cold weather. Vancouver is a much dryer climate.
Vancouver gets tons of rain like Seattle does

I never have said MM didn't like her photo published. I think she hated the vile lies being stated in the press. As do I. There is a difference.

It was minus 3 degrees celsius here in the UK today, I'm about an hour from London. So she'll be used to a certain amount of chilly.

It was on from 1984-1996, which is making me feel a bit too old. So funny and rude, they'll never get away with being that near the knuckle this time round!

That was never taken away. The HRH was...

I love that show! I ordered it for our library patrons to check out.

Thats such a good point isnt it? As long as its not intrusive I guess most people would be happy enough with a lovely photo going out.

I thought I read that he had to be styled Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex like Diana, Princess of Wales but everyone ended up ignoring that and still called her Princess Diana so I thought the protocol would prohibit her from being called Duchess Meghan? I’m sure it will get sorted out

I know, but the article which Gardenista posted says:

Palace officials were last night forced to admit they had made a blunder by announcing Meghan would take the title of a divorced woman. After confirming that she and Harry will give up their HRH – His and Her Royal Highness – titles, aides said the couple would instead be known as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

But as Harry boarded a flight to Canada last night to start his new life with Meghan and baby Archie, palace officials at home were scrambling to confirm the couple's correct titles after admitting they had got them wrong.

After this was pointed out by the Mail, royal officials yesterday confirmed the information had been given out in error by the Press Office and that the couple's new titles would be reported in due course.

It is likely they will simply revert to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, without the HRH.

Hopefully they'll make Charles a full-on hippy now, kaftan and lovebeads and Lennon shades, the lot! The Duke of Edinburgh could be portrayed as going senile and thinking that he's Nigel Mansell...vroooooom.....ooops did I run over something? Hope it's not one of Lizzie's corgies! Nope it's just a person, foot back on the accelerator!
