I wonder if some of this change is due to Harry turning 36 this year and Diana dying at 36??just something I’m thinking about regarding this timing
JMO

Nigella Lawson wrote something interesting recently about how how the year she outlived her Mother made her feel like a traitor, I think people who lose their parents relatively young have feelings about it that wouldn't make sense to those of us who don't lose them young Nigella Lawson felt like a 'traitor' to her mother because she lived longer than her

@Sherwood Park These are my favorites! That tassle is FIERCE. You need a lot of confidence to pull it off.

Yes, those one's are great.

Can't believe I found an article on Cosmopolitan magazine website that apparently shows every shoe that Kate Middleton has ever worn.
Wonder who has that job of cataloging every shoe she's worn? Probably an intern :)

"Kate Middleton is known for her love of recycling outfits - and for every dress she's worn twice, she has a pair of LK Bennett shoes she's worn at least 200 times."

Yes, some of the shots look like they are at her level, but the further away shots look like they are taken from above her. I can't figure it out.

Could it be a drone?

The elevated shots almost look like they are shot from the back of a moving truck.

To me it looks like a high powered lens from a distance. Maybe through the windows of a parked car, then on top of the roof?

We don’t know what is ahead of them in the picture. How they are getting the angle.

The last pair really speaks to me.

Good idea. I always forget about drones.
It bothers me a lot that she is out there exposed to any crazy with a drone or a scope. The two men with her - one of them is talking intently on his phone, not looking around, scanning the area as they usually do. I hope she varies her routine, surely they know to do that, until all this furor has died down. Too many people eager to become infamous.

Queen 'proud' of Meghan quickly becoming 'one of the family' | Daily Mail Online

Queen says she is 'particularly proud of how Meghan has so quickly become one of the family' - as she reveals Megxit is result of 'many months of conversations'
  • The Queen praised how Meghan has so 'quickly' become one of the royal family
  • Couple will be known as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
  • Queen revealed how announcement is result of 'many months of conversations'

The Queen expressed last night how she is 'particularly proud' of her granddaughter-in-law Meghan Markle, praising the speed with which she became part of the family.

In her statement, she thanked the couple for the dedicated work they had done, saying she was pleased they had found a constructive way to move forward.

She expressed her desire for the family to create a 'happy and peaceful life' which the couple intend to purse in North America where they can set their own agenda and make money how they choose.

I definitely believe the Queen over the tabloids.

I bet the press will try to twist the Queen's statement into something negative about Meghan and Harry.

And I'll bet they'll be right. That part about how "quickly" she's become a part of the Royal Family, for instance, is a classic royal backhand imo. Consistent with Camilla's response to whether she'll miss Harry and Markle -- "mmm -- smirk -- course." jmo

Regardless of what the Buckingham Palace Press Releases say I think Her Majesty will be very unhappy with how things have turned out with the young family not living in the United Kingdom full time where she can see them. This is not what she would have wanted at all. When Archie starts school the royal family will hardly see him.

However I do genuinely hope things work out for Sussex family and they are happy.

Sad....

Harry was in high spirits but I have spoken to a very close friend of his, who's known him for a long time, who says that Harry is really putting on a brave face throughout all of this -- that he's positive about his future but very torn [and] very sad about leaving his family,” Nicholl says. “He's very sad about leaving the United Kingdom.”

Eugenie had such a beautiful wedding and her wedding gown had a great story to it, showing her scoliosis surgery scar. It seemed very much like her.

Both Beatrice and Eugenie have had their share of fashion headscratchers. They both have womanly figures.

Beatrice, in particular, can really look stunning when it's the right fit and color. I am really interested in seeing what she comes up with.

I don't think it will be severe or as simple as Markle's dress. I think it will be more like her mother's dress, but less poufy.

@Herat I'm hoping for a big bow. Is something like this too much?
