The bubble bath excuse

How could JB have been brutally murdered if the word we see so often in the autopsy is "abrasion". Doesn't this suggest this was not a brutal murder?

The fact is, outside the head wound, JB was in pristine condition. Even that was "pristine" because it wasn't visible. There was a delicate strangulation and the marks on her neck are called abrasions, not contusions.

My conclusion; when people talk about JB being brutally murdered, brutally beaten to death, or this was a deliberate act, Team Ramsey is smiling. The staging worked.

rashomon,

JonBenet did exhibit chronic internal scarring indicitive of sexual abuse.
UkGuy,
Could you give me a link to the source where it says that? It is not mentioned in the autopsy report, and Dr. McCann's report lists no scarring either, only irregularities at the edges of the hymen.
Another problem is that Dr. McCann's findings can only be accessed through a secondary source, the Bonita papers.

I agree Albert. This is just what they wanted everyone to think and then everyone could say "no way a parent would do this". And is that not just what the Grand Jury said.

Autopsy says:

"Vaginal Mucosa: All of the sections contain vascular congestion and focal interstitial chronic inflammation. The small piece of tissue, from the 7:00 position of the vaginal wall/hymen, contains epithelial erosion with underlying capillary congestion. A small number of red blood cells is present on the eroded surface, as is birefringent foreign material. Acute inflammatory infiltrate is not seen."

It does not say it.

I grabbed my Nintendo64 controller and wrapped it around my neck. Although I am an adult, I can see where the triangular shaped abrasion and the round contusion on the right side of JB's face corresponded with parts of the controller and therefore could have been used to strangle JonBenet.

I have a five-year-old nephew and if it is okay with him, I can place the controller around his neck and trace the triangles and dots with a pen.

How are you going to explain to your little five year old nephew what you are doing?? He is going to wonder why you want to wrap a Nintendo64 controller around his neck. He could be scarred for life...LOL

I guarantee he will not be scarred for life...he is not a very sensitive child in that he would understand what I was doing was an experiment and that I would never hurt him.

Where in the autopsy report does it say there was a round contusion on the right side of JB's face?

I thought along time ago in People Magazine in an interview with Patsy, Patsy stated that JonBenet went to the doctors because she suffered from a yeast infection and it had something to do with her taking bubble baths all the time. Can someone confirm me on this?

I don't remember if it was diagnosed as a "yeast infection", but I do recall seeing "vaginitis" mentioned. That could mean any type of infection or inflammation. That kind of thing can occur in little girls who take bubble baths (I've actually seen warnings on bubble bath stating it's not recommended for children). But JBR was taken to the doctor many times for this. How many times do you get the same diagnosis before you stop the activity causing the problem? Most moms would see to it that there was never a second bubble bath if the first one caused an irritation.

I know,I got a bladder infection as a child, which was thought to be caused,or rather contributed to avon bubble bath,so we stopped using it and I never had a problem after that. The things they want ppl to believe are just so over the top.

I think the word meant was abrasions, not contusions.But...BR was specifically given the Nintendo to take with him to the White's that morning..was that to get it out of the house???

They should have thought it's more likely a parent killed her than it would be an intruder who came in and fed her pineapple ! Oh,and he may make grits now,too ! lol.

As I did my controlled experiment with the N64 controller, the marks on JB...the triangular shaped abrasion...the abrasion on her chin...the round abrasion under her right ear...matched the pattern on the N64.

wow, that's interesting. Is there a pic of the N64 online somewhere? That would be an older model if it was from '96, of course.

I couldn't believe that Patsy wondered if it was GRITS in the bowl that plainly held cream and Pineapple CHUNKS. Grits? It sure must have been the really chunky kind...a new kind that also has pineapple and cream in it. Sounds...ummmm..."Yummy".....grits, anyone???

If you are referring to the triangle shaped bruise on the front of JB's neck, that is a thumb print. A print that made that impression when someone grabbed her shirt and twisted around and in so doing the thumb came in contact with her neck.

I say this because my son came home from sparring practice the other day and he had the exact same thing, only not as dark. I asked him where how that happened and he said, "when my Gi was twisted, his thumb left an imprint."
