The Canvas Laundry Bags

And let's not even START on the words and phrases that have been eliminated from our repertoire. Waste, HUGE waste! I cannot say "red flag" or "backwards" among many others...

I have quit using those words since day one!

According to George's and Cindy's depositions the laundry bag found with Caylee's remains is like the laundry bag that used to be in Caylee's room holding balls. Now the ball/laundry bag is missing, just like a Pooh blanket is missing. The balls that used to be in the bag are now in an Anthony shed.

I think the admission by George and Cindy that they used to have a laundry bag like the one found with Caylee's remains and that now that bag is gone is a big admission.

DId they really admit that? Wow. So the imaginanny broke into the Anthony house, took the laundry bag out of Caylee's room, emptied the balls from it, put them in the shed, and left. And took trashbags and tape from the garage. And then used that stuff to put Caylee's body into before leaving it in the woods by their house? Oh, all a part of the evil nanny's plot to set KC up, for no reason we have ever heard.. okay. :: rolling eyes::

That's right. And there's NO evidence linking KC to the
murder. :waitasec: :furious: just Some Other Dude :banghead:

You forgot the part about that not being Caylee whose remains were found. The imaginanny substituted someone else's child to make it look like Caylee just to make KC look guilty. Do you think it is time for some people to come off their meds????????

When they admit stuff like having the laundry bag I wonder if there must be proof (photos or someone saying they remember seeing it). Because admitting anything or doing anything that might help in solving this murder and bringing the murderer to justice, is so out of the realm of what the family seems capable of doing, that it seems unlikely they would admit any truths.

I bet there is something to prove it came from their home, and they know it.
I've mentioned this before, but I think the A's,possibly with the defense ,are trying to say LE framed KC.Cindy says in the depo that LE must have taken the round bag, because the black bag was torn and she would have noticed that before.
In GA's depo I think he was implying that LE put the duct tape on the gas can, because it wasn't there before and HE would never put it on so sloppily. When asked who he thinks did it he says "You tell me!"
The defense made a motion that exculpatory evidence was knowingly destroyed at the remains site and that they were intentionally kept away.
Remember during OJ's trial they villianized Mark Fuhrman and suggested he manipulated evidence in the house [bathroom?]
I really think that's their purpose for admitting these things right now.LE did it to frame our beautiful daughter! :furious:
They know Soddi won't work. They got notthin'

TY BJB! It has been so long since I have reviewed crime scene photos and this really helped me try and put things together in my brain.

I have been trying to wrap my head around the whole idea of whether Caylee's body was placed into the bags head first or feet first. Just began re-reading this thread and found answers to some of the questions posed on the stain in the trunk thread. The laundry bag was 25" tall by 17".

Here is a link to the pics from the dump site of how they found the bags. It would appear that not much is still contained within the laundry bag. Black plastic bags have been pulled away and lay adjacent to the laundry bag. I am now wondering if the black plastic bags were pulled out (floated out?) and separated from the laundry bag soon after they were dumped (ie: 2 - 3 weeks).

Thank you & you're welcome, Wenwe. Glad it was helpful. :)

Lemme reserve comment on transporting remains for the crime scene thread.

That's possible if there was air in the plastic bags. I can't see KC squeezing the air out of the bags before she puts them in the tote.

I have attempted to copy ynotdivein's pic of the laundry bag and copy to this thread (from stain in the trunk thread) - however, I can't seem to get it right. It should not be missed IMO!

I can get it for you tonight, ww.

It is tough to stay, "on" topic, ww. There's so much info that is related to several topics. I'm just trying to point you to where the info has already been discussed to some degree so future reading & research is in fewer places for everyone. :)

Enjoying your work & appreciate your patience.

There is a 1" discrepency between the ME's report of the height of the bag being 24" and the original bag sold from the manufacturer. I believe this would be accounting for shrinkage - considering the wet, humid, heated climate in FL. The bag was pvc coated on the interior and collapse-able (sic?).

I came here from the Specific Caylee's Position thread
[ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99561"]2010.04.02 *SPECIFIC* Caylee's Position Inside Bags - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

At first being unsure of her possible position, after reading this thread and checking the documents pointed to, I'm getting a clearer picture in my mind. I've always been of the impression Caylee was killed in the house rather than the car, and after reading here, I'd more convinced than ever. These two threads have helped me get a better grasp of what probably went on.

Interesting note: one plastic bag was tied, the other was not. I'm working on my theory on that.

I'm also siding with those who think KC was in that garage hiding those garbage bags while out on bond. I'm thinking the two bags in the dog crate may have been overlooked by KC, the bags in the cooler were probably her doing. Sadly, we'll never know for sure.

This thread has been remarkably helpful. Thanks so much.

PDF number 343 line 2.

She starts talking about the bag and balls on PDF # 341 line 16 in the same link above.

So, duct tape, laundry, and bag in garage. CHECK!

Cindy goes on to say the rectangular bag is the one with the stuffed animals in Caylees room and the cylindrical one was in the garage. She clarifies this with LDB at the end of PDF# 343 beginning of PDF 344.

Thanks for this post, Insomnia Momma, if it hadn't been for you pointing this out, I probably wouldn't have re-read this for ages and would have certainly missed out on how Cindy cuts Lee's hair!

PDF page number 333, lines 15 -59.

Eye-opening, indeed!

In this depo, pages 342-343, she talks about buying several laundry bags, and not all had been used, so maybe the one on the shelf in the plastic bag was actually a new one waiting to be used!

Thanks for bumping this thread YNot! It has been a long time but I remember spending multiple hours looking at the creases in this laundry bag....and one of my very first attempts to draw on a photo (still I'm pretty inept)...Just wanted to bump BJB's comment.....between specific position in the bag thread, the duct tape thread, and the stain in the trunk - some of the best sleuthing I have ever had the pleasure to witness! Amazing work by fellow sleuthers done at least over a year ago, if not much longer.....

I had forgotten that this thread got split - the thread with the most work is "specific position in the bag"

link here

Please, someone confirm that we knew the canvas laundry bag was the twin of another found at the Anthony's. I knew this from two years ago. I just posted in the sidebar that I wondered why the twin laundry bag was left in a black plastic garbage bag when investigators found it? Did KC forget to dispose of it?

I haven't read this thread, so please excuse my ignorance. Thanks.
