the car break in

Well, I don't know if you have been to the police dispatch thread, but the person verified in there stated that sometimes when a police officer is dispatched they advise them of other recent calls from that location.

Maybe, it's just me but I don't think that reporter would have reported that if they didn't have something to back it up.

MOO

respectfully snipped... we're all going on exactly what the dispatcher said. She said "complaint issued to". That's what the reporter was going off of. Every once in a while, a reporter isn't quite sure either, so they have to be careful about their wording so they're not reporting misinformation.

I don't think PCS stands for the posession of a controlled substance because I looked around at other crimes on that map and PCS is used as a prefix on a lot of them with different descriptions.

PCS-Stealing TAF (Aut)
PCS-Burglary Residence -Occ
PCS-Stolen Auto / Vehicle Theft

Just did a search on "police crime codes pcs" and got a lot of results for "Pental Code Section"

This sounds like what it might be.

PENAL CODE SECTION # is what I think PCS stands for, as well.

Yup. That's what PCS stands for. Now someone just has to find the penal code section for the state and we can find out what the complaint was for. They are often posted online. I'm looking at the Missouri charge code handbook now and will post what I find.

Where this post falls is random:

There is a way to disagree with another poster's opinions/speculations politely and in a way that fosters helpful discussion rather than rancorous disagreement.

A good step toward this is to remove "you" and "I" from posts wherever possible.

Discuss facts and theories, clearly delineate between the two, and avoid assigning motives to other posters.

If you see a post that seems somehow out of line for WS TOS or Rules of Etiquette, alert and move on.

Back to discussion of facts and theories about the car break-in, please!

IMO, no PCP, Possession Controlled substances, accessories to crimes that had yet to have occurred, etc. KCMO and other nearby agencies use funky codes on their crimereports.com incidents. Some I've been able to figure out, others I haven't. IMO, dispatcher was advising the responding officer of the car break in at the address he was responding to, nothing more. Unless.......maybe the dispatcher meant that they had Sprint PCS phones that they would soon report missing (or would they wait 4 days???). Oh wait, now I'm the one oversluthing, IMO MOO BBM! ;)

Just bumping, may be some info in here about the car break in and cigarette butts.

Imo the car break in was coincidental to Lisa's disappearance. So many neighborhoods have this kind of break in and it's sadly everyday petty crime. IMO
