The Case of JonBenet Ramsey-CBS Sept. 18 # 2

According to the family he was on the second floor alone when only his parent were in the house downstairs and they had no idea who else might have been in the house. And this was a house with more than one way to get upstairs.

Yes, it was a big puzzle piece of a house. I don't know what anyone thought, I'm just saying it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that Burke was safe in his bed or room when the police were right downstairs

Sure, most parents would not leave exposed broken
glass accessible around children,
most people do fix a broken window,
but the Ramseys are exceptional in their behaviours
patterns, as often noted.

When you have a big house, things need repaired daily. It was back in a corner and that summer and fall, the Ramsey's were traveling frequently. So if JR broke it the summer before, he thought it had been fixed.

I am confused? Do you think JR broke the window in the summer or not? If he broke it, did he get it fixed or not? If he didn't break it then why is it broken? And if you believe the broken window was staging, why claim you broke it over the summer?

But when they found the note, the police were not downstairs. In theory, Patsy had no idea how long ago this happened, or if the "kidnappers" were still making a get away. Or if they were hiding in the house, watching. Of course we know they kept Burke near, we can hear his voice on the 911 call.

If Burke didn't do it, he should take that up with his father. Because if he is innocent, then Patsy did it and she obviously can't be prosecuted either.

I know honesty is a tough concept in that family, but this mystery could have been over and mostly forgotten, at least by the public, if they had old the truth in the beginning.

Hang on, how do you know John didn't do it?

I think the fact that he supposedly broke the window and then didn't bother to get it fixed is mighty strange. The size of the house isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned and he certainly had the money to hire someone to fix the window.

How does one let months go by without fixing a window they broke in the basement where their young children play?

Then if Burke did not do it, then why did he not meet up with investigators after his exams?

If my sibling was killed 20 years ago, I would want to follow up with anything. This is not logical.

He'd prefer to stay out of it. Just let Lin Wood file lawsuits on his behalf and collect the funds.

I do not feel sorry for Burke or John or the late Patsy Ramsey. Legally culpable or not, Burke is a weasel.

Patsy Ramsey was so concerned with her facade of the perfect life with the perfect family, she and her husband failed to address their son's behavior before or after the murder. As a result of their failure to address it while little JonBenet was alive, she lost her life. And when faced with doing wrong or right by their dead daughter or their living son, they chose wrong. Again.

Instead of staying quiet, John Ramsey has lied through endless interviews and then enjoys having his bombastic, morally bankrupt attorney sue media outlets for financial gain.

They are despicable people.

My fiancee is from overseas and has never heard of this case, up until A&E, ID and CBS aired them.

He cannot figure who did it, but the thing that sticks out to him the most is the RN. He does not believe any intruder would do this. And he has fresh eyes to this. He is also unsure if BDI, the parents did it as well.

I think if the RN was not involved, it would be much easier to clear the Ramsey's.

Yes, can't get past the RN. IMO, it has Patsy's signature, from the overly dramatic tone, to using the word, hence, using the word attaché, with aigu mark, to mentioning good, southern, common, sense, and many more. Don't forget the handwriting showed distinct similarities, as well.

IMHO

Really? Exactly what part is speculation??

The 911 call supposedly with Burke's voice. Even the experts on CBS couldn't agree on what was said or who said it.
JR didn't immediately grab his buddy and start searching. BPD and Fleet White had been down to the basement earlier. Fleet White gave a statement that he actually opened the wine cellar door.

Burke was jealous of his sister? Is there any evidence of this?

I could go on and on. I'm not in any "camp" but I find it disheartening that evidence can be misconstrued on both sides.

Fair question. I also think it's interesting that Patsy claimed she hadn't been in the basement in YEARS.

Now, I have a laundry room on my second floor too but I'm in the basement for various reasons once or twice a week. The Ramsey basement was a freakin' disaster, so the cleaning lady probably didn't spend much or any time there. Patsy "A-Christmas-Tree-For-Every-Room" Ramsey - must have reviewed her holiday decoration stash from time to time. Gone down to check on the kids when they were playing? Tell them dinner was ready? Hide Christmas and birthday presents? Her need to distance herself from the space is definitely noteworthy.

I thought she had a Christmas wrapping station down there, and had stowed the children's presents in the wine cellar.

I don't think anyone will ever really know for sure if JR previously broke that window, but I tend to think he did and he had to admit that he did because other people apparently knew about it. What baffles me is why not fix it? He had young children at home who played in that basement. There was broken glass from it, not to mention the security issues of having a broken window.

I tend to think he did break it previously and he failed to get it fixed. I think that if he had gotten it fixed, he would have provided proof of it and it would have given a bit more weight into the possibility that an intruder broke that window to get into the house.

If anything, the broken window is either more subterfuge that was thrown out in this case, or JR had a somewhat neglectful attitude about the security of his home. I mean, if you have a broken window in the basement, why even bother to lock the doors and initially he was telling police that all of the doors were locked.

Did anyone watch the show last night on A&E ? It talks about this CBS special and I Believe JR responds to the Phone call... I am watching It now, so I have not gotten to that part yet.

It is almost too obvious isn't it. Almost like someone wanted investigators to think PR had written the note....

I hear ya. From what I've read, the Ramsey's were very lax about home security. JR said that he told PR about it and assumed it had been repaired.

We have a house similar to the Ramsey's and it has so many rooms and nooks and corners. We joke about putting gps on our kids so we can find them. So from my perspective, none of the window stuff seems unreasonable.

what does that mean tadpole?

[h=2]What is *69?[/h]

It's a telephone service called last-call return, which tells you the phone number and time of your last received call. If your carrier supports it, you can use it by dialing *69 from your telephone.
