Is it possible that the suitcase was originally under JAR's bed and that is why the dust ruffle was out of place on the bed? From pulling it out?
Maybe they didn't even open the suitcase when they took it down there. Maybe they HAD planned on putting her body in the suitcase only to realize she would never fit so never opened the suitcase. Instead, using it as a prop for the IDI theory. Only later learning what the suitcase contained.
All of this is an opinion on a possible scenario. Just thinking out loud.
There is no perfect crime. I think they made a ton of mistakes but were able to muddy the waters enough to keep this case unsolved. Sadly.

I thought he was in the Navy? I definitely agree someone was being groomed in that house, if not both children.

True, Ramsey joined the*Navy*in 1966. The book title has always been kept private, though there is speculation about it being the adult Dr. Seuss book. But even if it were "oh the places you will go" it has no business being with that blanket in the suitcase.

I feel the same way. A 6 year old child would have no reason to have a gynecological exam period. UNLESS there was evidence or testimony that abuse has occurred. With all of their doctors records sealed, there would be no way we could find out if there indeed was such a claim. Maybe THAT is why PR had to keep taking her to the doctor. Because it was mandated. Maybe even PR herself was concerned some kid of abuse HAD occurred and wanted to confirm it. Just speculation mind you but that would be an excellent reason to have them sealed. MOO

Besides the frequent visits there were also 3 frantic phone calls within a space of 10 minutes which she could not remember the reason for, according to her.

It was also pointed out recently there was another roll Fleet was asked to retrieve very early on so there are plenty of pictures we have never seen.

But either way it would have been the same. BR was only 9 he wouldn't have been prosecuted and that wouldn't have had to do all that horrible stuff to her little girl that I think is even worse. I would have been more forgiving if an accident with a flashlight then all the rope and strangling, degrading torture and wood in her vagina.

Henry Lee worked cases IN COURT he is not an actor. he did however loose one of lana Clarkson's teeth during the Phil Spector trial LOL ( Lin Wood who IMO looks glassy eyed said the investigators were actors in his interview)

Well, looking at the rest of the house it makes sense to drop things wherever you wanted; these people were super messy. The kids probably did what they wanted, and the maid cleaned up after them. I was appalled at the clutter of that house, along with the gaudy furnishings. I know it was 20 yrs ago and styles have changed but the house decor was ugly.

Yep. That style is called uppity redneck. I'm surprised she didn't have a velvet Elvis painting somewhere.

A few things I'm wondering about regarding what those sealed records contain....if she had an exam to look for sexual abuse, there would have to have been reason to prompt such exam. I'm not sure I can see Patsy initiating the visit, but who knows. If JBR had things on her record that indicated even allegations of abuse, her chronic yeast infections (though that can be common at that age without abuse), and any records of trauma.... Like being hit with a golf club....

If they where aware of these things and it could be backed up this way, and the Ramsey's didn't take proper follow through regarding supervision, then that could be endangerment

Regarding Burke. What if he has officially diagnosis indicating hinting at an indication toward violent behavior....or wires artwork drawn by Burke depicting apathy or even rage toward his sister....or even harming her...could that be considered premeditation?

Watching now and hmmm. Is he not doing the EXACT thing that he is accusing CBS of doing? Defaming known experts with his own lies?
Woods is so dang full of himself he makes me absolutely sick! If his clients want their name cleared they should have been upfront and honest from the beginning. Woods needs to just sit down and hush and tell his clients to be quiet from here on out. MOO

excellent point! I strongly feel that the Grand Jury saw things we will never be privy to and something, or a lot of things, made them reach the findings that they did.

Yes but they could have prosecuted his parents, thus breaking up the family.

If the truth came out social services would also take a hard look at the safety of that household, and the parents ability to render care.

Just because no charges could not be filed against him, the truth still could have separated his family.

One thing that Jim Clemente said that I really liked was something to the effect of it being important to remember that it doesn't have to come down to two possibilities(IDI vs. RDI) , but that there are many possible shades in between.

Yeah that is a good point. Over the past twenty years there has practically been a war between IDI vs RDI and of course mini factions in both so called "camps". Many wont budge from whichever side they are on.

They came to the conclusion of BDI, which is obviously very possible and maybe the most probable. But there are still so many other possible narratives here that could include others in the home that night yet PR and JR were still lying about something. They could be covering for someone other than BR for who knows what reason.

Are there any prevelant theories out there that include a so called Intruder, but PR and/or JR still lying about what happened?

Actually...yes.

Many years ago on a long dead site was an interesting theory that an intruder did come in that night and killed her, the Ramseys wake up and find her dead, and since she was being abused and they didn't want any of that leading back to the family, they staged the entire scene.

Chances of that happening? Probably less than zero but it was a creative way to try and blend both IDI and RDI into one theory.

I do agree that its possible they could be covering for someone but out of the known people close to the Ramseys, that list of suspects would be awfully short.
