The Croslins moved out - will the sale help make bond?

One thing that's being overlooked in the discussion of Lindsey turning over her share of her home back to grandpa....... As long as Lindsey's name was on that deed it was considered to be an asset of Lindsey's also. If Lindsey has been applying for any government programs to help her and the kids financially, that asset may have been a problem. KWIM?

Lindsy does know something. She is the one that showed the police where the towels, videos were. She knew Tommy stole them. I wonder how Tommy is going to take it when he finds this out.

That is probably why Lindsy wanted the whole hour of time allowed with Tommy. She didn't want Hank Sr. or LC to tell him about it. The same could be asked how Tommy would react if told the minute Misty was arrested she ratted on Tommy about the robbery - she was the first to tattle, Lindsy did what she had to do.

My understanding of the situation is Misty told LE at the end of an interview in January that she saw items in her home that didn't belong there and she named Tommy as the culprit. After the 2 burglaries occurred in the neighborhood, the cops arrived at 116 Tyler Avenue to follow-up on Misty's lead and when the cops told Lindsy they were searching the neighborhood for a missing gun, she permitted the cops into her home to investigate because she didn't want her children at risk of finding it first. I didn't hear anything about LE serving Lindsy with a search warrant. During the search of the house, items concealed in the master bedroom and bathroom were found but not the gun, and Lindsy told LE she too believed Tommy was responsible. Don’t know if LE located the gun or are waiting on an answer from Tommy.

ETA: This is what the Police Report indicates happened.

twall, thx for posting the dockets. One big, huge question -

Why is his atty never named? Even if it's a PubDef, the name should be on there, I do believe.

When you get back on, bluesky, think you could round up a link or a copy of the PCSO report? I'm not doubting you at all. I'd just like to see them, too.

A little background info & history on Lindsy's grandfather, GS. It's an older article, from when he was running for tax assessor in Flagler, but some good info. And a little trivia, i.e. he used to work for Arnold Palmer...who knew?

omg - he was so young in that photo! [Hate to say it, but I think even in 1980, that was a pretty old photo of him.] He used to be the golf pro at Palatka's Muni. Still plays here every week and won a trophy back about a week or two.

If the whole clan was living with-in 100 yards of the house where Haleigh went missing..why did they camp out in the yard?
I thought RC's mom lived several miles away and they had to drive to get the out fit, almost hitting a child that morning.
The idea of Misty watching the kids does't seem so strange if they were just yards away from Grandma..
Misty's relative that got in a fight with RC..and left the day HC went missing..who was that?? and where does he live?

One has to feel bad for the kids of Tommy and Lindsy - at the end of this tape you can hear LC tell Misty that Lindsy can't find a job because of all this stuff being on tv.

http://www.wftv.com/news/22531052/detail.html

Lindsy would be wise if she realized that Tommy is going to jail, she is going to be on her own with three kids - if she knows anything, she could dramatically improve her situation if she came forward with it as that would end up on tv as well. She could at least make herself look decent. Maybe her Grand Dad can talk some sense into her. Good luck GP.

Move away, take back her maiden name and go by Kathy or Marin, and color her hair. I'm serious. She has some overcoming to do, but she can do it, I think. Thankfully she has no criminal record, at least I hope she doesn't.

She wouldn't be getting rid of the mobile home to qualify for government benefits. She could own one home free and clear and still qualify for benefits.

As far as Tommy having to sign off on the deed...
As long as they are married, whether his name was ever officially on the deed or not, lawyers and title insurance companies will require Tommy to sign off on the deed/title even if they had been married only for one day. It just helps to keep titles clean. SOP

I don't think that Lindsey has any plans of dumping Tommy. She still visits him at the jail when she can get there and she doesn't talk like she plans to dump him. She may feel differently after he has been in prison for a while but they have three kids together and she may really love him. Time will tell what she will decide to do. Right now it was a good move for her to take her kids and move away so that Tommy's parents have to find their own place. They were probably all settled in for the long winter. I wonder if they were helping her pay the household expenses and buy gro's? Neither of them were working were they? I'm glad that she agreed with her grandfather about the MH and moving in with him.

It's to bad that the arrests are reflecting on her when it comes to finding a job. Employers are no doubt afraid that she is into drugs too. Tommy is going to be a drain on this woman regardless if he is in jail or out. Who will hire him with his record? If she can't get a decent job they will be up the creek. We could all give her some sound advice but I don't think it would do any good.

Tommy hasn't been in jail long enough to be clean and over his addiction to drugs. I hear him telling her not to use the money to support her and the kids, but use it to bond him out. That should be a huge red flag for her. If she gets him out, he will go straight for the fix. I hope she is smart enough to figure that out. She told him they had little food in the home and he didn't even comment on it. How sad....Girl, use the money to feed your kids, and run, run far, far away.

Why should he worry about a simple thing like his wife and kids eating when he is getting three meals a day :furious: You are right...he isn't even near done detoxing yet and even if he isn't he should still worry about his kids first.
I hope she says to hell with him and puts her and the kids first for once. Does he want her to use their income tax return to bail him out? Boy these dopers are selfish people.

Out of all of these people, this guy is annoying me the most. His kids are hungry, for crying out loud, & he still thinks only of himself. If he didn't have kids, I might feel sorry for him, but he does, so I don't. Dopers ARE selfish. @ least Jr. is with his mother, but even if he wasn't, GGS wouldn't let him go without. If CPS is listening to these calls, can't they step in?
