Ms Tzvetkoff says after hearing the yell, they turned on the TV and heard nothing further. #badenclay

Next on the stand is Kim Tzvetkoff, who also lived opposite the Baden-Clay house in 2012. #badenclay

On the night of April 19, 2012, he heard a noise. Some time between 7.30pm and 10pm. A loud exclamation. Abrupt, cut short. #badenclay

Mr Tzvetkoff says he believes it was a female voice. "Something's happened, that's all." He says it was very loud. #badenclay

So, if none of the girls heard any arguments, fights, or noises on that night - what were the "blood-curdling screams" heard by some of the closer neighbours, and also allegedly by Fleggy over a kilometre away?

Probably has already been said as I'm way behind but children sleep MUCH more soundly than adults....

That said, my heart breaks so, so much for Allison, her sweet girls and family...ugh.....hard to read her daughter's words...

3.15pm: The 22nd witness in the trial is Anne Marie Rhodes who lives at 5 Deerhurst St at Brookfield.

She said she heard fighting and a scream around 10pm on April 19, 2012.

“Fifteen to 30 minutes later I heard a loud thud and quite soon after that I heard car wheels scream and a car go back, in my mind, towards Brookfield,” she said.

She said she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth.

“I just heard an argument, I couldn’t make out what was being said and I didn’t pay much attention to it,” she said.

She said the noise was “moderate” and she couldn’t tell if there were two people involved or distinguish a man’s or a woman’s voice.

“It was not long after I noticed the time … it was 10 o’clock and then I heard a scream after that,” Ms Rhodes said.

BBM.

This is what my stepdaughter says when she doesn't want to reveal what she actually knows. It's said in a way that is 'I know but I don't want to tell you so I will just say this instead'. And it's easy to tell the difference between a genuine 'I don't know' and a 'I'm hiding something'. Trying to protect dad perhaps??

MOO...

My grandson does that as well, it is so clear.

Hi all
I have so much to catch up on.

I sold my home and it settles on the 20th - While I was packed and prepared as much as possible.

The truck arrived yeasterday and well things are very disorganised.

My last post was that I thought OW would be on the stand before the girls, how wrong I was.

IMO I think there is more to come from the girls.

Is it possible that Allison did pick the girls up from school then went to hair appointment,
returned home and put the girls to bed and then went to see her friend for dinner.
Todd Fuller did say in his opening (I think) you will hear that Allison went to the hair dresser and had dinner with her friend. That I assume would be based on the hair dresser and Kerri Ann Walker statement.

The girls had dinner at the grandparents ( that would be based on whose statement.

Speaking of Kerry Ann Walker, is she named as a witness? I'm hoping she will clear up what she meant in her statement by "she told me things" or something to that effect.

Ms Rhodes said the fighting came from the direction of Brookfield Rd, near to the day care centre.

“Once again, it was just a female scream and it was fairly short in duration and there was only one,” she said.

“I thought it came from Brookfield Rd or up towards the day care centre,” she said.

The jury was directed to the child care centre on the map, located next door to the Baden-Clay residence.

Ms Rhodes said around half an hour later she heard a ``loud, dull thud” and screeching tyres.

“I heard a dull thud and wondered whether a car had had an accident initially and I was just about to get out of bed and get my husband…,” she said.

``Loud and dull. It was like a sack of horse feed falling onto concrete or something.”

Ms Rhodes said she was sitting in bed reading and estimated the time between the scream and the thud as being 15 minutes to half an hour.

In cross-examination by barrister Michael Byrne QC, for Baden-Clay she agreed she gave two statements to police on June 7, 2012 and on May 30, 2012.

She said it was “very rare” to hear school kids in the area on a week night.

“I couldn’t accurately put a date to the scream however I knew which night it specifically was because it was the night I went to bed before my husband, which was unusual in our family,” she said.

She said her husband went to a conference the next day and agreed they “put their heads together” to work out the date she heard the noises.

Ms Rhodes said she went to the police command post at the Brookfield Showgrounds on April 20, 2012 and found out someone was missing but did not report what she had heard the night before.

“It didn’t even enter my mind,” she said.

She agreed she saw police searching a neighbour’s property the next day.

Ms Rhodes said a police officer came to her home on April 28 or 29 asking whether she had heard anything abnormal on the night of April 19, 2012.

“We couldn’t think of anything we’d done differently or heard differently at that stage,” she said.

She agreed she did not mention hearing a scream until May 1, 2012.

“Yes, we had by then worked out a date and I thought I had a duty to report it,” she said.

“I did go back a second time and that was in June and report hearing the dull thud and the car wheels as well.”

She said she reported those things because she thought they were a little bit abnormal.

Ms Rhodes said she thought it sounded as though someone had crashed their car into a bank.

The 23rd witness in the trial was Julie Ann Tzvetkoff who in April, 2012 lived with her husband at 35 Boscombe Rd at Brookfield.

She said her property was on the corner of Boscombe and Brookfield Rd.

Ms Tzvetkoff said she heard a noise sometime between 8pm and 9pm on April 19, 2012.

“It was a sharp yell out, like an urgent yell out and it lasted a few seconds,” she said.

She said she couldn’t tell if it was a woman or a man.

“I was in my kitchen which faces Brookfield Rd and we have a large open door … I believe it came from the rear of the Baden’s house,” she said.

Mr Jenkinson says his property was about 200m from the river at its closest point. He was over 500m from the Kholo Creek bridge.

3.25pm: The 24th witness is Kim Vasil Tzvetkoff, who lived with his wife at 35 Boscombe Rd at Brookfield in April, 2012.

He said he heard a noise between 7.30pm and 9pm.

“It was a loud exclamation or, I can’t describe it as a scream, it was more of a startled, cut-short, exclamation,” he said.

“It didn’t last very long at all, it was an abrupt cut-short type of thing.

“I believed it was a female voice and like I say, startled, I can’t really put it into any better words. It wasn’t what I would call a scream, it wasn’t long enough for that, it was: something’s happened, that’s all.”

I don't know but if she did have dinner with Allison then you would think/hope she would be a witness.
To my knowledge had never heard she had dinner with Allison until Todd Fuller opening.

Mr Jenkinson said he can hear traffic from other side of the river. He was in his room, facing the river. #badenclay http://bit.ly/1pJFkbN

Byrne asks Mr Jenkinson whether the noises could have come from anywhere in the streets between his house and the river. He agrees.

Body hitting creek bed, tailgate shutting, then car door closing, perhaps? Or is that my imagination reading too much into it?

And the other lady from Brookfield who reported a "thud then a car door" could also be the tailgate closing then the car door, before the wheelspin trick?
