TM still smirking leaving court today ugh :banghead:

Don't think she'll be smirking after listening to the other girlfriends' versions

or after hearing the partner (can't remember his name at the mo) tell the court GBC had said he was only boffing TM 'for the sake of the business'

Folks if some of you feel like looking in from the outside there's seats waiting.

The same rules apply as they always have.

Cut the derogatory & over the top comments from the discussion thanks.

I'm hoping that part of the prosecution strategy is to leave all the strongest evidence to the end, so it's fresh in the mind of jurors when they go to deliberate. Any legal eagles able to comment?

I'm no legal eagle but that's exactly what I'm banking on, or we're in trouble.

I don't know how I'll cope if he walks.

well. the years that have passed since Alisons murder haven't been kind to Ms McHugh....

and that's a fair comment.

Id like to see how Gerard looks after these couple of years in the ArthurGorrie centre..

I kept imagining while reading OW and NBC talking about Allison, that if it were 50 + years ago, GBC and his family would have had her locked up! :(

the strange thing is, all these events.. the vomiting, the inability to drive, the wetting of her pants, the closed blinds, the lying on the couch only happened around Olivia.. or Nige..

didn't seem to occur around anyone else...

Cheer up. Today went Allison's way

The jury isn't stupid. A woman died. Before them sits her husband, accused of her murder

They've heard Allison being run-down by her in-laws (most jury members have experience in that area)

they've heard Allison's mum fire from the hip and if the jury had any say in it, they would have demanded she be allowed at least an hour to say her piece

they've heard Allison's friend say how happy Allison was, how fired up with plans for the future (and she was acting on those plans)

they've heard GBC's mistress tell how he spent four nights a week with her after claiming to be 'working back' (which directly contradicts the sister-in-law's claims he cooked, helped with the kids, blah blah)

they've heard GBC's mistress admit that cheating behind his wife's back was disrespectful, something with which the jury members would heartily concur

they've heard GBC's mistress claim he assured her his marriage would be over by July 1

etc.

The jury got an earful and it was all in Allison's favour in addition to portraying GBC as a cur and his family as unreliable witnesses

All good :woot:

Worried to the point where we arrived at the play group and she opened the car door and vomited into the gutter.

'I noticed she had lost control of her bladder too.'

Ms Walton said Allison would often lie in a darkened house with the curtains drawn and withdrew from social activities.

She said she 'perceived Allison's behaviour as quite odd' and described her as operating 'like asking a sprinter to run a hundred metres with a broken leg'.

She said Allison Baden-Clay had confessed her condition to her in April 2004.

'We went out on my patio and she said, "I have been diagnosed with clinical depression",' Ms Walton said.

Asked whether Allison had told her own parents, Ms Walton said, 'she said no, she didn't think they'd understand.'

what horrible things to say!

BBM

What is wrong with these people??! Was that part really necessary or relevant? Don't understand your motivation OW to humiliate Allison posthumously like that.

Mrs Dickie told the court her daughter had suffered from post-natal depression after the birth of her first daughter in 2011.

She said in late 2011 she rang her daughter at the request of Allison's best friend Kerry-Anne Walker.

"(Allison) told us that Gerard no longer loved her," she said.

"I urged her to come and live with us on the Gold Coast.

"She said no way. She would never leave those girls."

If I were a jury member, I would not be liking NBC or Olivia Baden Walton at ALL

Shot themselves in both feet, imo

Toni is so oblivious to her presentation, .. she still hasn't figured out how Jocelyn Frost knew about their affair.. could it have been her excessive giggling and prancing and preening and posturing?? Her little secretive glances, like the one today?? her dribbling adoration?? her incessant babble about Gerrrrred Gerred Gerrred??

If there is anything another agent can use against its competitor it's a bonus.
Real Estates thrive on gossip. First in on a deceased estate or a divorce is the winner.

Anyone planning on going to court tomorrow? I'm thinking of it, provided I can shake this flu.

He said he had organised Allison's insurance policy after the couple had returned from their honeymoon.

"It was a pure life and crisis or trauma insurance," he said.

"The trauma related to the possibility of having some traumatic event or crisis event such as cancer or heart conditions.

"In addition to that there was a significant amount of death cover."

Mr Baden-Clay Snr told the court of the moment he learnt Allison's body had been located.

"The police came to Gerard's office, I happened to be in Gerard's office at the time, and the police came to Gerard's office to tell him," he said.

Yes, painted like a nut case. A fruit loop. An incontinent (of urine), vomiting, a "hide in a dark room instead of receiving visitors person". a depressed, upset because she failed to supply a boy child (implying that must have been the catalyst), incapable, hopeless, non-functional person!!!
What a filthy lot of derogatory, vile, low down, disgusting things to say about a Lady who is unable to defend herself. Words fail me. How can anybody stoop that low?

Yes, it is a fair comment Trooper. As soon as I saw that image of TM, my first thought was, she cuts a lonely figure. There was no-one sitting beside her in the car, holding her hand, giving her support etc. I just wonder if the penny has actually dropped into TM's brain yet that she was being played for a fool by Gerard Baden-Clay/Bruce Overland/GG. Did she really even know the bloke she was having an affair with for four years? I don't think so.
