It's common for doctors to start someone on 50mg zoloft then later increase it to 100mg. This seems quite normal. I've been on high dose of 200mg for many years and I function normally (I think).

Yes 50mg is a low dose. 100mg is the normal dose for most people.

I've been on 400mg a day for many years due to suffering OCD. This diagnosis does require an abnormally higher dosage than standard depression or anxiety conditions, but it just shows that she certainly wasn't on the highest dosage known to man!

I also function very well on this dose, no side effects at all. Work full-time in a corporate environment. S0metimes I even wear bright clothes :blushing:

11:10am: Dr Burke said he assessed Mrs Baden-Clay in October 2011 soon after she discovered her husband's affair.

He said presented with low mood and anxiety, but he found her to be quite resilient.

"My opinion was that she wasn't at a high risk of suicide," Dr Burke said.

"I thought that ... she had a high degree of resilience."

Dr Burke said Mrs Baden-Clay displayed a high degree of insight into her mental illness and was very organised through their consultations.

Does anyone know how the police found out about the affair so fast? Was GBC throwing TM under the bus from the beginning.?

He mentioned it to one of the first police officers attending on the morning of the 20th. Made a big fuss about pulling the police officer aside saying his father/sister didn't know about it.

The Doctor is not a "lay person" what is the defence getting at??? Is the Psychologist going to say something different???
