The court is being shown photographs of the scratches on Gerard's right cheek. #badenclay

Dr Hoskins says there are three abrasions and some small scratches on Gerard's face. #badenclay

Well she was driven out in an unmarked police car on Tuesday.

We've not heard anything about where she was at on the night Allison was murdered so I think she'll be back.

The police advised her at one stage to seek legal representation. I took that as meaning at that point she was considered a suspect. I believe she said she was home asleep - no alibi. However, the blood in the Captiva, if relevant, would suggest it likely wasn't TM. She would have had to bring the Captiva back which would increase the risk of being caught, especially given the screams heard. Clearly she was still prepared to have a relationship with GBC after Allison's disappearance so would she stitch him up for her murder?

Yes I think TM is naive, and had a sort of blind infatuation with Gerard, but an accessory to murder .. no way.

Something else I'm wondering. If Allison's anxiety/panic attack was that bad she vomited and couldn't drive etc and had to be brought home to sleep. Would she be in a fit state to walk 14km if that is what occurred that night? I know a few people who suffer from panic attacks and can barely get up in that state let alone walk.

Dr Hoskins says you would use a local anaesthetic and adrenaline to stop bleeding, then bunch the skin a certain way to biopsy. #badenclay

10:20am: The 46th witness Dr Robert Hoskins has been called to the witness box.

The former forensic medical officer with Queensland Health examined photographs of abrasions to Mr Baden-Clay's face.

10:17am: Under re-examination from Crown prosecutor Danny Boyle, Dr Kumar said she believed the razor Mr Baden-Clay had used was an old-fashioned razor.

"One where you have to screw the blade in," Mr Boyle said.

"Yes," Dr Kumar replied.

"He told me he cut himself shaving with an 'old razor'."

Once she was shown a photograph of the razor with which Mr Baden-Clay claimed to have used on the morning his wife disappeared, Dr Kumar said she could not be "100 per cent sure" that the injuries to his face had indeed been self-inflicted
