RSBM. I thought they said she was no longer required as in excused for the remainder of the trial? Is she still being brought in each day?

They did say she was no longer required.

So what did TM have to say that made her a witness for the prosecution-no surprises or damning evidence?

Or was she told she could be charged with hindering the case by lying in her many statements.

Ooh here's a thought. I wonder if the hairdresser used any products in her hair? Surely. Well Allison probably didn't wash her hair after the hairdresser. They could maybe match any product or conditioner on that hair in the car to what the hairdresser uses.

From about the first general discussion thread up to the 48th, there has been numerous discussions about Allison's trip to hairdresser. She did have it coloured as she didn't like the previous colour.

Prof Wells says there are areas of linear markings on the injury. He says fingernails, clothing pulled against skin could have caused it.

Clothing pulled forcibly against the skin could produce injury near Gerard's armpit - Prof Wells #badenclay

Prof Wells says there is no way to comment on the timing of the different injuries. #badenclay http://bit.ly/badenclayday7

Prof Wells says it's "quite likely" there would have been bleeding associated with the face injuries. #badenclay

Sorry, I haven't read the 48 discussion threads. I did read a discussion about the hair dye though. I was more thinking about the other products used, not the dye. Like conditioners and smoothing serums, that sort of thing. Sorry if that's been discussed.

I've only had my hair dyed once but the salon I went to kept a record of the colours they used on my hair on a file. I don't know if they all do that. Could that be useful?

Prof Wells says it is difficult to tell how old the face injuries are. "Some hours, a day." The surface of the injury is dry. #badenclay

Prof Wells is now being questioned by the defence. #badenclay

Prof Wells agrees with defence that examining photographs is not as ideal as examining the person. #badenclay

So it was the 3rd attempt to get Allison's hair right, this doesn't sound like a suicidal person at all, she cared about her appearance.
Noted Allison was still suffering from a cold, poor thing, and she still put up a good fight. jmo

Are you thinking maybe that might somehow tie in with the police examining body lotion and things?

Yes! and hairspray. :)

Prof Wells agrees that fingernails over the top of a shirt are more likely to cause a bruise than an abrasion. #badenclay

Prof Wells agrees he has "considerable difficulty" reconciling the facial injuries with a razor blade. #badenclay

Prof Wells: I'd have trouble putting those two together. #badenclay

Prof Wells: I can't see how a razor blade ... could produce that pattern of injury. #badenclay

We need a probate lawyer.

Here to help. The investment property was owned by a company that Allison and GBC had a share each. from memory they were both directors. Following Allison's death, he quite legally notified ASIC and she was removed as director. As the sole director he could have the company sell it. Mr Dickie was not so concerned that it was being sold, rather that Allison's interest in the sale proceeds were protected. That prompted his application to the Supreme Court to be appointed interim administrator of her estate. I believe though it wasn't reported that half the net sale proceeds after the mortgage was paid out, were paid to Allison's estate. Allison's estate is.in limbo pending determination of.the beneficiaries. If GBC is convicted it will go to the girls, if not to him. However there are other legal proceedings on foot to make provision for the girls in this eventuality.

Yes that crossed my mind :)

Prof Wells has repeated this several times when asked if he could exclude the razor as a cause. #badenclay

Ahhh that's great to hear .. not so bad after all then :)

If Allison's hands were inside her jacket then would any skin remnants under her fingernails been still there. Maybe too late for DNA but possibly something.

Prof Wells agrees that if a razor was damaged in some way, it increases the likelihood of it causing a skin injury. #badenclay

and Allison's brother was completely overlooked too as it belonged to both siblings. Pretty low thing the lawyers tried to pull then. jmo
