11:05am: The court was shown a photograph of the blood stain in the boot of the car glowing blue. The photograph was tendered as evidence.

The court has previously heard police found a "dripping blood" stain in the boot of Mrs Baden-Clay's Holden Captiva.

Acting Senior Sergeant Leitch has been excused.

11:04am: Amanda Reeves, a senior forensic scientist with Queensland Health, has been called to the witness box.

She tested Mrs Baden-Clay's fingernails for traces of DNA.
