Gerard said Allison passed out at the wheel. Their daughter, aged about one, was in the car. She'd pulled over. #badenclay :waitasec:

Gerard says Allison was very keen to have more children. When she was pregnant for the second time she was "flat". #badenclay

Gerard: She was really feeling incapable of much at all. #badenclay

Gerard: She spoke to my mum about it. She didn't want to speak to her parents about it. #badenclay

Can somebody phone the court please, and ask them to adjourn for a few minutes? I'm busting for a leak here, and I can't leave this screen full of tweets and WS.

Thank you very much.

Uh oh......

Well if you'd done urology instead, Doc... :)

Wasn't he sacked?
Correct me if Im wrong - later ;)

Eyes, he claimed unfair dismissal. There is a court history online.

People like G believe they're a legend in their own lunchbox.

Gerard said Allison passed out at the wheel. Their daughter, aged about one, was in the car. She'd pulled over. #badenclay

Gerard: She felt very uncomfortable about driving anywhere so she stopped driving. #badenclay

Gerard: She was very, very nervous even as a passenger. #badenclay

Gerard: Going to the airport was a real challenge. #badenclay

I don't believe all of this. :( He's exaggerating, like he does with all his accomplishments. jmo

:banghead: I have to go to bed. WAY past my bedtime. I'd love to stay and hear more about GBC's grandiose thoughts about himself, but I really do need my sleep for work tomorrow. (Still Wednesday on my side of the planet).

G'night mates! I'll see you all on the morrow! :grouphug:

:offtobed:

Goodnight Kimster. At least we all have three days to get over all this bullcrap, so that we are fresh and can listen to more on Monday. At this rate we should be up to 2011 by next Thursday.

Gerard #badenclay is talking about the International Scout Centre again. He is great-grandson of Scouts founder Robert Baden-Powell.

Gerard says Allison went to see a doctor his mother recommended at five months pregnant with their second child. #badenclay

So now we have not only Olivia testifying that Allison didn't drive, but GBC as well. I'd love to know why they had two cars ("Mummy drove Sparky"), who drove the school runs, drove herself to the hairdresser, etc etc.

4:11pm: Mr Baden-Clay said his wife's mood thereafter was "very flat".

"She didn't want to speak to her parents about it ... I didn't tell anybody, because I was protecting my beautiful wife. And she didn't want to tell anybody because she didn't want to be seen to be incapable. She felt a tremendous pressure ..." his voiled trailed off.

"To be perfect," Mr Byrne interrupted.

"Yeah," Mr Baden-Clay replied.

I've no idea what he's been saying since he got to the rubbish bit about Princess Diana. That was enough for me!!

Kate Kyriacou @KateKyriacou · now

Gerard says if Allison was sleeping on the couch, he could hear if the baby had woken up. #badenclay

Gerard says Allison's behaviour became progressively worse in 2002. #badenclay

I thought he was a heavy sleeper?

Or is that only when it is convenient to the story?
