Gerard says they stayed with his grandparents in Switzerland while they found jobs in the UK. #badenclay

Gerard says the job he found "paid very very well" and the job Allison found "hardly paid anything". #badenclay

He cannot help himself. FFS I am starting to believe that he needs to be locked up...not at Arthur Gorrie but at a mental institution

He had to throw that bit in.......something which I am sure he had done repeatedly in real life - to lower Alison's self esteem....small digs but made often... that was his 'modus operandi'.

Gerard says neither of them had been to South America before and had never had to deal with malaria before. #badenclay

He did not warn his wife of the impending run-in that night.

"He did not mention it," Mr Byrne told the jury.

HA!!.... coward..

Of course that has to be said as if he said he told Allison, then that set the prelude for what followed. Lies, Lies and more damn Lies.

Seems so pat that there is an 'explanation' for everything that is suspicious. "Can't recall" is a typical answer for 'I don't want to tell you or I will not tell you' and perp can't be caught in a lie, but believe me, 'Can't recall' answers are often more damning to the accused. MOO

3:22pm: Mr Baden-Clay has recalled his travels with Mrs Baden-Clay, telling the court details.

He noted he and his wife were in a caravan park in New Zealand when Kieren Perkins won Olympic gold.

He also noted he and his wife had "just cleared customs" in Australia, about to embark on their honeymoon, when they discovered Princess Diana had died.

Gerard says they decided to take Larium because it was a weekly dose. They were warned about risks for people with mental health probs.

Gerard: Allison and I looked at each other and said that's not us. #badenclay

Gerard says the medication had no effect on him but a dramatic effect on Allison. #badenclay

I'm not saying he didn't do it, I am on the fence. Cause of death hasn't been given, the botanist was thorough but that doesn't point to foul play imo.
I'm just saying that comments here are quite snarky and that doesn't really leave a lot of room for having an open mind.

I have had an open mind from the beginning. I have spent time in this forum from almost the first few days after Allison went missing. I played devils advocate, I put forward alternative views. I am a very opend minded and benefit of the doubt person. I have generally not been one to jump in on the lynch mob mentality- I really try to avoid it. However, My opinion over the last 2 years or so, given ALL I have read and heard and my faith in our QPS detectives etc, leads me to have a VERY strong belief that GBC is indeed guilty. Its hard for me to look at it fresh from a jury perspective, because I do know and have read alot- I don't know how they would be viewing it and what they already know. Cause of death hasn't been given definitely for sure, but it has also been said by the forensic pathologists - whom we have to believe know their jobs. That cause of death was NOT natural causes. There are alot of other things like the blood in the car for one thing the supposed razor scratches- which numerous experts said are virtually impossible to have been cause by razor.. so why lie about it then if it wasn't? And other inconsistencies that need explaining and seem to point to guilt.

I don't love to hate him, I don't have ANY feelings towards him. I feel disgusted and outraged by what he may have done and I feel sadness for Allison and her family. And I would like to see justice done for her. If by some Humungous miracle it turned out he did not do it, fine- just get the person who did. But in my mind I think QPS and prosecution are on the money with the defendent before the court now.

This reminds me of Jodi Arias. On the stand, she loved to talk about herself and her life history.
