12:31pm: Mr Baden-Clay said Allison imposed numerous conditions upon him after discovering the affair.

She would take his phone each night and check his calls, texts and emails.

But Mr Baden-Clay said he would delete records of any calls from Ms McHugh from his call history before handing the phone to his wife.

If it was all Toni and none of it was initiated by him why delete it? He'd have been able to show no response from him proving it had ended. Obviously he had to delete the thread.

I'm not sure what you mean. I just mean that it all sounds perfectly plausible. Morally bankrupt in numerous places, yes. But I'm not seeing the "holes" that other people seem to see. I'm allowing him to paint his picture and it so happens that much of it gels with my own life experience and certain principles I hold to be true.

That said, we aren't yet up to the part that matters - 19 April 2012.

Gerard says he called Dr Flegg in March "really just to say ... where are you at?". Flegg didn't answer. Sue called him back. #badenclay

Gerard says he told Sue he wanted to ask Bruce if he was in a position to lend $300,000. #badenclay

12:43pm: Questioning has now turned to how Mr Baden-Clay intended to take control of the agency's rent roll from his former business partner Joceyln Frost.

He said he asked MP Bruce Flegg, whom he had come to know through the Kenmore Chamber of Commerce, for $400,000 around Christmas 2011.

But he said he did not want to tell Dr Flegg who his partners were.
