Yeh, sometimes it's easy to shoot the messenger! I think deep down people know he's doing his job and everyone deserves their day in court ;)

I also suppose that Defence QC cop it because they are the messengers

Now I get why she was being escorted by the police. It was to stop her launching herself at GBC, scratching his face and screaming "I am NOT wallpaper!"

Maybe this was the type of wallpaper he was referring to...
Just in my opinion only...

Agree Trooper , that phone going on charge is a big hole that needs to be covered . If you left home at 2am how long would it take to walk 14km's?
I am an average walker and my pedometer says I do between 6-6.5 km/hr. Bit faster or slower going up or down hills but that's my average. I am the same age as Allison and not particularly athletic not very fit.

Does the Jury know that Allison disliked water and was afraid of drowning?

Good evening, all! Just arrived home, ran through the tweets from today and haven't had time to catch up with all the goings-on with WS. Sorry if these issues have already been addressed and dealt with: 1/ Byrne refers to all docs as 'he'. Research much? 2/ Gerard was in a flap because his wife was missing, which is why he hurridly shaved, cutting himself to smithereens in the process. (My understanding is Allison was NOT unduly late at the time of the infamous 's***, shower, shave and email persual on the loo?) 3/ Byrne says the call re Allison's insurance policy was AFTER ALLISON'S body had been discovered? Again, my understanding was that the enquiry took place when 'A body' was found, not positively identified as ALLISON'S body at that stage? Just wondering how these issues sit with you guys? I'm quite sure the prosecution will have taken copious notes re all of this. Thanks heaps to our tireless re-tweeters and those in Court today.

I understand that your pedometer works out your walking speed, but how far do you usually walk and for how long? I don't even know whether 14km or so is considered a very long walk/too far for someone to cover in one hit, or would some cover that distance in an average daily walk?

Wow great work! When you're busy copy/pasting them you don't get to read them too much, so I'll definitely read this later :)

Re the bolded...

Allison's body wasn't formally identified until the following day, 1st May 2012.

Video from the day Allison's body was found on 30th April 2012..

[email protected] it mentions GBC was at his Century21 office & shows detectives arriving to deliver the news a body had been found.

Baden-Clay also made inquiries about his wife's substantial life insurance policy after her body was found but before it was formally identified, the court heard

I don't even bother going to the parent teacher interviews because I learnt from past experience, with this particular school, they are a complete and utter waste of time.l do all my queries etc via email. I am not a bad mother by any means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So true - everyone guilts me about these parent teacher interviews and I think I am SOOOOOOO happy not to go! There is NOTHING they can tell me about my sones that I don't already know so why bother? If you can't fix it how will they fix it and they aren't even paid to to that so Why would I worry about what they think?

wow Saxons, that is quite fast walking. I can do 6 - 6.5 if its cool, and i'm pushing it a bit. However, on average, walking to work to work each day in the dark to avoid the Singapore heat, i am probably closer to 5.5 kms per hour. Mind you, I'm usually carrying a handbag with multiple devices, lunch, etc.

I think if someone was just going for a daily walk, and ESPECIALLY when you are going to be attending a conference the same day, you would be highly unlikely to walk for more than an hour. I guess if someone was hell bent on suicide, you would just be walking and walking and crying...and who knows where you would end up. I certainly don't think that happened.

I understand that your pedometer works out your walking speed, but how far do you usually walk and for how long? I don't even know whether 14km or so is considered a very long walk/too far for someone to cover in one hit, or would some cover that distance in an average daily walk?

Totally agree and no I wouldn't walk 14km in one hit. An hour or 6-7km is usually enough for me. And I do it in suburbs that have good footpaths and definitely in the daylight. As I said previously, after visiting Kholo Ck yesterday, I don't think Mt Crosby Rd lends itself for walking.

And if the defense is suggesting she was "under the influence" (zoloft/alcohol...ridiculous!), then my thoughts are she would have been stumbling and wandering. Not exactly power walking! I definitely don't believe for one minute she walked to Kholo Ck.

Surely at least one car would have spotted a distressed sucidal woman walking for 3 hours?!

There were a lot of inaccuracies in Byrne's closing speech. He gave Fuller a lot to work with. I'm kind of secretly hoping that was his intent all along.
I love that thought. Hope it's true xx

My everyday walk is 5km. If I have time to drive to a nice walking track that is 7km. When I was part time I had an 11 km walk too but just no time for that once working full time.

Please, please don't even try and argue against Byrne's quote.

As a (working) mother of 3 myself, he (or someone) must be completely detached from reality not to realise the pressures on mothers these days.

Unbelievable! What a completely stupid thing to say!

(even my husband agrees! the one who has had to put up with 'oh just everything')
