I haven't once seen a report or a statement from GBC or his family that Allison's "real" killer is still on the loose and they have the wrong man.... If they were convinced that GBC was innocent wouldn't they try and convince the powers that be that they should be looking for someone else or at least have a plausible reason for who the murderer is if it's not GBC?

It looks to me like the BC Clan are heading towards a suicide defence. Hence the lack of a plea for the "real" killer to be found. Someone interrupted and brought to a holt the suicide scene setting and cleaning up in the early hours by GBC and NBC.

Being a local you must have been fearful that a murderer was on the loose, when GBC was arrested did you feel safe immediately or mixed feelings?

Well funnily enough when the police came and searched our property. Not once did they mention to lock our doors or take extra precautions this was before his arrest. So when they arrested him I just thought they had done their job and got their man.

I remember that post.... So many facets to this case it is so hard to remember everything..... One thing that sticks in my mind and could never get my head around was when OW ran through neighbours yards and ducked and weaved from the media it looked very suspicious and was very dramatic and she got even more dramatic and OTT from that moment on.
She knows GBC is guilty... I'd bet my house on it!:drama::drama::drama:
I remember that too. Behaving like unsocialised children suggests something subversive going on.

Can you tell me about the bus stop?

I think it might fall into rumour? Don't want to overstep again (sorry Marly!). I can't remember if the bus stop was ever mentioned in MSM? Handing over to someone who might remember......and who dares discuss it :scared:

I will google and find out. Thanks!

...and I want to know where her phone is :tantrum:
OMG.... Me too! It would solve a lot of unanswered questions I'm sure.

The bus stop has always been intriguing though.... I'm sure that will be made clear very soon ..... hopefully?

Unless I am mistaken, the so called "SUICIDE" theory has been seriously debunked today.

He said Baden-Clay explained to police that he was ``a heavy sleeper’’ and could not remember whether his wife had slept in bed with him the night before.

I still find this hard to believe....

I'm a heavy sleeper too but I certainly notice when my partner isn't in the bed. I'm restless when he has an all night gaming session or game designing session.

The way the bedding is pulled back shows that.

I just want to know about the bus stop!!!! :tantrum:

The roundabout. :scared:

Can you tell me about the bus stop?

The roundabout :please:

I thought Police put out a statement looking for people who seen something unusual at the roundabout where that bus stop was..... Correct me if I'm wrong though!

The roundabout :please:

If it is by the Indian place that is my bus stop I use to go to work.

What other explanation could the defence possibly run with?

Correct...except police have never mentioned a bus stop.

Investigators would like to hear from anyone who drove in the vicinity of the roundabout at the intersection of Brookfield and Moggill roads, Kenmore, between 11.30pm on Thursday, April 19, and 4am on Friday, April 20.

“People who were near the roundabout during those times might have seen something that could assist police," he said

Problems? We didn't have any problems. No suicide theory here!
The holes are so big I could drive a train wreck through.

Crown prosecutor Todd Fuller told the court Gerard Baden-Clay told police his wife had a history of depression but he thought her state of mind was "pretty good" when he reported her missing on April 20.

He said Mr Baden-Clay told police his wife was managing her depression with medication but he was not sure if she was using any at the time.

Mr Baden-Clay allegedly told police there was no indication the marriage was going to end but an affair he ended the previous year had put a strain on the marriage.

He allegedly said "things between them were pretty good" and they were having counselling.

I think they have a witness who said they seen NBC at 11pm at the bus stop on the night before Allison was reported missing.. Is this fact or rumour?

Thinking about the Dickies media statement, so heartbreakingly sad for her family in every respect.

  • #456
This is heartbreaking, why couldn't the marriage been left alone for the children's sake!

In one email to the Bruce Overland account in February, two months before Allison disappeared, Ms McHugh asked why she should believe anything had changed now their affair had resumed.

"Im sick of hiding … Im sick of being second best and having to take the back seat … all so she doesn't find out," the email read.

"She gave you an ultimatum and you honoured it??? If I were to do the same tomorrow … I doubt you'd be able to pay me the same respect.

"Why should I accept anything less than she would?"

Less than a month before Allison died, Ms McHugh sent an email about finding a place for Mr Baden-Clay to live when he left his wife.

"It would me so much easier if you did just move in with me," the email read.

"She can get her own place and the week you have the children you move back to the house.

"She doesn't need to know where you're staying!

"Sorry it's up to you to work out and I shouldn't interfere. I'm sorry."

On April 3, 2012, an email from the Bruce Overland account sent a reply.

"I have given you a commitment and I intend to stick to it - I will be separated by 1 July," it read.

Then on April 11, 2012: "This is agony for me too. I love you."

"I'm sorry you hung up on me. It sounded like you were getting very angry," the email continued.

"I love you GG. Leave things to me now. I love you. GM."

The court heard GG stood for gorgeous girl and GM for gorgeous man.

Mr Fuller said Mr Baden-Clay spoke to Ms McHugh the night he is accused of murdering his wife.

He said Ms McHugh told him in no uncertain terms he must tell his wife they would both be at a real estate conference the next day.

Mr Fuller said Mr Baden-Clay had the opportunity to murder his wife on the evening of April 19, 2012.

That was reported to us via one of our Verified Insiders - squizzey1.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's a fact...you can take it on board or not.

Perhaps A. wasn't thrown but lowered into the deep. A. had no corresponding injuries (if I remember right). Also her body could not have been under the bridge. Maybe someone was an assistant to this part of disposal. IMO

I still believe it's possible he dragged her down there. I've been there and been down under the bridge and you can get there. Throwing her over would be very risky as cars do come along there at all times of the night and the position you'd have to be in to throw a body over would be very visible as far as I can see. I also find it hard to believe you could lift a body up and throw it over without help.

But then there are some other issues. I know they've said Allison had foliage on her that was present on their property but did she also have other foliage? And wasn't something said about the positioning of her body not being consistent with having jumped? Therefore not consistent with her being thrown over?

If he'd told Allison about TMcH and the conference why would it be necessary for 000 if Allison decided not to go. If her eyes were red from crying she wouldn't want to front up looking bad, some women would go visit a good friend instead.
------------------------

He phoned the woman his wife was supposed to attend a real estate conference with and found they were supposed to meet about 8am.

At 7.15am on April 20, Mr Baden-Clay phoned 000 and told the operator his wife was not at home and he did not know where she was.

So I just remembered I have Friday off work and think I may go to court. Is there anything I need to know like time to go(early to get a seat?) or anything I can't take or do in court.
