Hi All. This is my first post. I've lurked since the beginning but had nothing to contribute. A friend of a friend was called for jury duty on this case, but didn't make it past selection. She is an avid WS follower. According to her, most of the jurors selected were "burly looking males", one Asian woman, a couple of middle-aged women and a couple of women who "looked like secretaries"--whatever that means? Apparently most of the women called up we're rejected.

Crown prosecutor Todd Fuller, QC, has launched his opening address to the jury before a packed court room.

He told the jury a canoeist by the name Daniel Joyce happened upon Mrs Baden-Clay's body on the muddied banks of Kholo Creek at Anstead on April 30, 2013.

Without warning, he showed the court confronting crime scene photographs of Mrs Baden-Clay's body underneath the Kholo Creek bridge.

Mrs Baden-Clay was wearing a grey tracksuit and running shoes.

"Let me tell you about Allison Baden-Clay," Mr Fuller said.

"She was 43 years of age at the time of her death. She had been married to Mr Baden-Clay fore almost 15 years."
