The death of Princess Diana

Hi Scandi,:)

Thank-you for the post.

In order to take the photos they swerved their motorcycle to the left and a bit in front of the car, and the flash of the camera in the darkness made a big light which threw the driver off kilt, and stunned, the car took a left hand path which then was hit by the white car of the man who sped quickly out of the tunnel. He was maybe a counterpart Paparatzi to the guys on the motorcycle.

France
- A key witness in the police investigation into the death of the Princess of Wales has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in a remote woodland in southern France. Soldiers on a military exercise found the body of paparazzo James Andanson in a burnt out car near the village of Nant. Detectives are puzzled by Andanson's death.

One report in the files of Judge Herve Stephan, the chief investigating magistrate in the Diana-Dodi crash probe, described the tests on Andanson's Fiat: "The comparative analysis of the infrared spectra characterizing the vehicle's original paint, reference Bianco 210, and the trace on the side-view mirror of the Mercedes shows that their absorption bands are identical." In laymen's terms, the paint scratches from the Fiat found on the side-view mirror of the Mercedes were identical to the paint samples taken from the matching spot on Andanson's Fiat

Hi Sweetie, our dark shadow gal, LOL

Just think, they have studied this case for 9 years. There were other people around as well that were suspicious because they didn't know from where they came or where they went after they left.

After a 3 hour study of reading and reading and more Googling and reading this afternoon, I can not see the English throne ordering someones death when it seems to be a most circumstantial case. Maybe I need to read more! LOL

Nitey Nite, Scandi

A simple buckling of the seat belt might have saved her.

I recall reading somewhere (sorry I can't remember the source) that Diana was religious about buckling up and always told her sons something like "Belt in!" which is the British equivalent of "Buckle up!" There was speculation that the pins in the seatbelts had been shaved down so that, even if they had been worn, they would release on pressure. I wish I could remember the source. This, of course, feeds into the conspiracy/murder theory. I wonder what her bodyguard (the one that survived the accident) had to say about the seat belts. I also wonder if the seat belts had been examined to check for tampering.

Trevor Rees-Jones (bodyguard) has never really said much. Or that I can recall.

But remember I can walk into another room and not know what I am there for.

It was a small cut on the artery that pumps the blood away from the heart and it is a slow process, and the blood might have begun to coagulate which made it a slow bleed. But she hemoraged into her chest

Your statement was more accurate than mine. It wasnt her heart it was an artery that was torn. :blushing:

I read alot yesterday like I said, and since the French wouldn't allow another autopsy and just released the body to her family, there were two experts that studied the report that had been done. I found several great links that detailed everything about what was found.

In one of those links I also learned that the ambulances in Paris have their own physician on board. Evidently they didn't realize she was hemmoraging internally, slowly, but did have problems with he blood preassure and had to stop right before turning into the hospital.

Julia, I've wondered about Trevor Rees-Jones as well. Did he recover fully and do you know what his wounds were? I wondered if maybe he has some impairement from the accident which has kept him out of ther limelight.

And don't worry about forgetfulness, as it is perfectly normal. Happens to me too!

There are two totally different photos in question.

The "fishy" one is in color and shows a bloodied blond in the back of a car that has had the roof removed. As Scandi said, I don't believe the roof was removed from Diana's car. I can't find any proof that this photo was the one published in "Chi" magazine.

The more authentic looking photo is black and white and is shot from the side looking in through the door. It shows a blond woman receiving oxygen. It is quite believable, and not nearly as gruesome as the colored one. You can find images of it on the cover of "Chi" if you do a google images search.

Here's a photo of Trevor after the accident. He has not been silent, wrote a book and has appeared on LK. That transcript of LKL was an interesting read.

As for the color pic in the opened top car....

A spokesman for Paris criminal police told Reuters today: "This is not a picture of Princess Diana's accident. It's a fake." Rescuers in the picture were not wearing standard French emergency services gear, he added. Also, a three-digit emergency phone number in the background--999--was not a French number and appeared to be British.

I don't think he said anything earth shattering though.

You're right Julia. He remembers almost nothing, and what he has recalled he can't be sure is true because he was under such preassure to remember the accident. He said he remembers some moaning and the name of Dodi being called which he says must have been Diana.

The physician who drove into the tunnel right after the accident happened and attended the victims said she was alive but didn't speak. You hear everything, witnesses saying she was talking, and there were several standing around the car in the photos. And maybe in the few minutes it took for the doctor to reach the car she did talk. I don't think we'll ever know.

<<She lived and she died. I don't think she was all that powerful a figure in the world. It was just that she caught the hearts of so many people who loved her for everything she was and did. And since she was a Princess of England by marriage, they then idoloized her.>>

She was a true Princess.

Under bad circumstances, she held her head high, and always conducted herself with grace and poise.
People loved her 'for everything she did' Scandi because she went out of her way to help people in need.
She did some amazing charity work, bringing AIDS into awareness and campaigning against land mines.
She helped create change!!!!!!

She was far from 'just a Princess of England by marriage'.

I agree. I have no feelings for Royalty. To me they are just people. I also don't gush over celebrities. But for some reason, Diana's death hit me hard. I know she used the press when she wanted to, but the unrelenting hounding and stalking of her by them just made me feel so sorry for her. I feel they caused her death. She touched many many people and her work with multiple charities was far reaching indeed.

Ok, my morbid curiosity wants to see the Real photos.... Anyone?

Hi guys,

It's a matter of interpretation, and to me she was an authentic Princess being married into Royalty. On the other hand I believe every girl is a Princess in her own right.

But I meant that with goodness, and as I pointed out it was who she was and what she did - I should have clarified that by saying her good works - that the people really loved and idolized her.

Yes Julia, I'd love to see them too! Haven't had time to find them yet. LOL

Diana (Spencer), Princess of Wales (1961-1997)"My God. What's happened?"Diana and Prince Charles divorced in 1996, shortly after their mutual public confessions of adultery and infidelity. Within the year, Diana had hooked up with the controversial international playboy and millionaire deadbeat, Dodi Al Fayed. After an evening of partying, Diana and Dodi hopped into their automobile along with their bodyguard and ordered their drunk chauffeur to race through the streets of Paris in an attempt to outrun the following paparazzi. Thankfully, when the big Mercedes crashed in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel no innocent bystanders were killed or injured. Princess Diana's last words were recorded in official police files

I've read 3 things:

*Oh God
*Doti
*They're trying to kill us

The Dr who was at the scene said she was silent at that time, so I don't know if this is true or maybe she started talking a bit later. One report said witnesses said she was alive and talking at first. It's one of those deals! LOL
