This may have been made known previously...........

Apparently the Exif data attached to the bloody eye picture/avatar on Steam indicates it was last modified on Wed, 14 Nov 2012 00:43:56 GMT. That is before WM committed suicide on Nov. 29, 2012(I can't find the exact date and THANKS SillyBilly for the Nov. date)
The link to the exif data from the photo........

The exif data has been pulled before, it's probably in the thread dedicated to the bloody eye photo.

Edited to add: that doesn't mean I don't find it interesting -- I do. But I think we don't actually know for sure if WM shot himself in the eye.

LE apparently found the connection compelling enough to re-open the investigation into WM's death. Means, motive, etc., that's how sleuthing works. If no one ever dared to assume anything bad about anyone, no crimes would ever gets solved.

Well taken. I just hope that in this case, where WM has no immediate family other than DM to be the guardian of his history, so to speak, that all the issues and challenges and personal difficulties that apparently characterized some aspects of his life will not be laid out <MODSNIP>. I hope for his sake that all the triumphs and achievements that also reportedly made his life meaningful to so many people will not be diminished and trampled in the rush to judgement involving his son. There but for the grace of God go I and, so goes every single one of us. Nuff sed.

I know Arch I know, it makes my entire theory of help me help you help me blow out the window if they can't prove WM was murdered. And now that he has been cremated they will never know.
There will be pics of the scene. These will be helpful. Along with toxicology, statements at the time, gun shot residue tests, even tests now for angles with a comparable weapon. Sort of like "totality of the evidence" stuff.

When a human life is taken..and there's uncertainty as to whether it was by their own hands or by someone elses, unfortunately some things have to be discussed. Will it diminish the significance of his life? No. Will it be painful for many? Yes. If DM was not behind bars right now, facing 1st Degree Murder charges, WM would have been able to RIP. Regardless of who pulled the trigger, it's pretty obvious that WM was not feeling the love and either he or someone else felt his achievements and life where meaningless. MOO

IMO this will not be brought into this current case. It is not connected and even though file on WM may be open it does not mean much. Files are often left open for a period of time and WM has only been dead months..... it was ruled a suicide and body cremated..... no further questions your honour. JMO

IMO WM was either a depressive or suffering the effects of what has been suggested as a liking for a tipple or two. IMO There is no evidence his son killed him and obviously no evidence of such was ever brought forth. WM death was ruled a suicide and he was cremated. His son apparently found him (traumatic event). I do not see any evidence where WM was not feeling the love !! Even his ex wife had good things to say about him. He lived with his dad and went house hunting with his dad, he obviously had a good relationship with his dad. He could have lived with his mom !!! He could have lived on his own !!! but he chose to spend time with his dad..... speaks volumes ! IMO

Blomquist, there were other people who chose to spend their time with WM as well and your assertions that all was well in la la land is yet to be confirmed. IMO, it is early in the investigation and just because "you" don't see any evidence to the contrary right now, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. A man is dead...either by suicide or murder..exactly what kind of answers would you expect from DM or MB? Do you know more about the family dynamics than the rest of us do? How about the GF, his business associates etc etc. Just because they're not giving interviews to MSM certainly doesn't mean they haven't spoken with LE. Now, if LE come out and say "we've spoken to everyone in WM's life and in consultation with the Coroners office have come to the conclusion, beyond a doubt, that it was death by suicide and we're closing the case" John Q public has no choice but to accept that. As of today, that has not happened and it should be sleuthing as usual.

<modsnip>JMHO, but WS is about sleuthing out the truth and I do respect that we have to look at both sides of the coin. But with that being said, I have great faith in HPS, the BEAR unit and the detectives they have on this case. In the case of WM's death, the coroners office does have the final say. LE are keeping their cards very close to their chest and the investigation continues. MOO

Just to avoid confusion, TPS is looking into WM's death again, not HPS. It is out of their jurisdiction.

The reason for this thread has been repeated ad nauseum. If it's still unclear, then one should direct questions to a moderator in a private message so as not to further interrupt the discussion.
