The Defense Hires Crime Scene Expert

  • #21
I cannot help but wonder why someone with a great reputation, would come to defend someone who leans so heavily to the side of guilt,
or is it a cover for payment from those who will benefit. The
news media thives on such stories and they have the mega dollars to pay. It would be truly a blessing if such people were on the team of the precious child. Has our justice system failed the innocent?
I can only hope that all that care, give voice to Caylee and all
Children that cannot be heard.

Hoping with all of you,
Mind Student

per the judge and others this evening when LE/FBI are done and not until then---currently it is a crime scene and only LE/FBI allowed....this is the most absurd case....sadly I think Caylee has been forgotten with the defense....

Yep, and I do hope the State takes their sweet time......a nice week long downpour when they do finish would be sweet, no? :)

Shrine: A site hallowed by association with a revered person or object or with an important event: Independence Hall, shrine of American liberty.definition

Cindy created the shrine, not KC and after Caylee was murdered. There is so much information that could be shared with these new members of the defense team. They don't seem to know much about the family. If he had seen before pictures of her room, he would never make a comment like that. He would know that Cindy created the shrine as a.............well........ as a SHRINE.

Maybe a little birdie could email Dennis Fahey the before and after video.
(just kidding)

At what point would a crime scene expert have access to the crime scene?

This is what I'm thinking. The crime scene has already been wiped clean, even the bushes are gone...what's this expert going to investigate? And if he's working for free, what's his motive? Fame? He's gotta have one....:waitasec:

That's what I thought which is what prompted the question. how effective are crime scene experts if they cannot really even examine the crime scene? I know there are pictures and reports, but it just doesn't seem like it would be sufficient.

Hi Tg. Well if you think about it, a crime scene expert working for the defense on a high profile case would probably be attractive to other high profile, most likely guilty type, criminals.

snipped from the article above:

Fahey already visited the Anthony family on Friday and examined their home where 3-year-old Caylee Anthony lived.

"The child's room was beautifully kept and the mother's room was almost a shrine to the child," said Fahey.

The child, the child. For the love of God, HER NAME WAS CAYLEE!

This just infuriates me!

Say her name, CAYLEE! This is suppose to be about justice for CAYLEE!

Why would a crime scene investigator make it a "circus atmosphere" If I found myself in similar circumstances and one was available to me, I would certainly take advantage of one.

I couldn't resist. see below... KC's room a shrine to Caylee? I need another barf bag. It's been proven that CA added all those photos to KC's room after Caylee went missing. KC's room was not like that at the beginning of this investigation. CA is such a liar. Maybe she'll stop now that she might be prosecuted for all her lies. I guess KC is a chip off the old block of CA.
ORLANDO, FL -- A crime scene expert has joined the defense team representing accused child killer Casey Anthony.

Three-year-old Caylee Anthony has been missing for five months and her mother, Casey, is charged with her murder.

Last week a child's body was discovered near Casey Anthony's home.

Within hours of the find lead defense attorney Jose Baez called Dennis Fahey for his expertise.

So this new person was hired....who is paying his bill....good ole Baez? Who is paying all of these attorneys? I wonder if Linda Baden is working Pro Bono along with Baez? I think ole Henry worthless Lee is doing it Pro Bona. He shouldn't charge because he is worthless. He either hides evidence in his pockets or lies on the stand or does something so bogus in court that like he did at Michael Peterson's trial...blowing ketsup all over a white board. I think Henry Lee has lost it. He lied about blood evidence during OJ's trial and has only gone down hill since. I would bet that Dr. Baden will do an autopsy after the ME is done with the body. Wonder if he will be free too.

Seems like all of these people are looking for their moment of glory.

Ohhhh, this was an excellent catch :) Props to you!

Given what all is being said about Henry Lee's rather botched experience with the Spector case, it's no wonder someone else would be better suited for the crime scene than him!

I'm surprised that Henry Lee has been brought in as Linda Baden was one of the attorneys for Phil Specter. Guess she thinks ole Henry is A-OK. Even if he does pocket evidence

It's like I said on the Geraldo thread this weekend - Lee, Baden, Spitz and Lee all worked the Spector defense that ended in a mistrial. It's almost if you buy one of them, you get 3 others free :)

Anybody know where I can see pics of KC's room before? I've only seen it with pics of Caylee everywhere, like on Greta and more recently, on the news.

Thanks!

Yes you would definitely want an independant crime scene investigator to follow LE at a crime scene. What the defense is praying for IMO is for a slip up..a peice of evidence that possibly LE missed etc.
