Something i wonder too.

tell you what, i think the most obnoxious one was a riding teacher, wasn't she? the "Not my Mikey" cow? bet she was promised she'd be hired for Neveragainland.
That comment alone should have been reported to the judge and gotten a mistrial.

Wonder if it goes much deeper than that. In the one page interview Jermaine gave in a Bahraini paper last year (sometime in February or March), he pretty much made it clear that MJ would go to either rest or live in Bahrain after the trial...I thought nothing of it at the time, yet a few months later, Prince Abdullah's taken him in as a guest of the country and we've been stuck with him since.

Are you sure about MJ being still in Bahrain? According to a Gloucestershire newspaper report 2 days ago, MJ is in England with his friend Mark Lester.....he stays in a hotel somewhere in Cotsworld.

Roger Friedman says he's back in NYC:

Jackson sneaked back here on Wednesday according to my sources. The purpose was to give a deposition in the $48 million lawsuit filed against him by Prescient Partners, aka Darien Dash, cousin of hip hop entrepreneur Damon Dash.
The Prescient case is a typical Jackson dilemma: the pop singer or someone representing him—possibly his brother Randy—signed an agreement that if Prescient could find him financing to buy out his Bank of America loans, Jackson would pay them a 9 percent fee.

Hi Wolfwood, what do the people in your area have to say about MJ? If it is true that Prince Abdullah is supporting him, how does that go over with the people in Bahraini? I just can't understand how anyone could want to help MJ out--he makes me sick!

Oh, he's not too popular after the burka incident a couple of weeks ago and the fact that he's obviously hiding out in Bahrain to escape his creditors. Prince Abdullah probaby just realised that he's stuck with MJ and might very well be cursing his "good friend" Jermaine for talking him into it in the first place while trying to save face. Those two started 2Seas Records last year to release some song His Highness wrote but like the Katrina single (which missed its promised release date that Prince Abdullah himself announced), the only evidence of its existence is a title. Also, MJ's the only person signed to this label...kinda fishy if you ask me.

Apart from that, you got me. I have no idea what's going on in this country anymore. The whole country's gone a bit mad, I'm afraid...

Wolfwood, Thanks for your response. I am glad to hear that "he's not too popular after the burka incident a couple of weeks ago and the fact that he's obviously hiding out in Bahrain to escape his creditors." I hope he starts to feel real unwanted there--sooner rather than later! :)

Sorry Marine Mom, I did that as delicately as I could. This trial was full of facts that made me have to jump in a shower and scrub.........:banghead:

"Manama: An offer by Michael Jackson to buy a Bahraini businessman's house ended up with the 'King of Pop' sharing dinner with his family and making new friends but not buying the prized property, sources on Sunday told Gulf News."

Well Wolfwood, any comments to that? There aren't any dates in it when this incident took place - could have been last year, could have been this year.....

Another newspaper published this letter to the editor:

"We love you Michael

MICHAEL Jackson has been walking around in our minds since we were about five years old. He has made a big impression on our lives, and we want him and everybody to know how nice a person we think and know he is. And believe us, he really is!"

2 Michael Jackson fans from Europe were responsible of this and obviuosly the Daily Gulf News found it important enough to be published......hmm.

Well, the GDN's letter section is often full of odd letters like this. A few months ago, there was a guy who claimed to be a great musician and he specifically asked to meet MJ so he can collaborate with him on a song he's doing. There's probably be a letter admonishing these two braindead women in a couple of days, hehe...

As for the house story, it could be pretty recent (though it hasn't appeared in any Bahraini papers. Gulf News is UAE based). The villa he lives in is located on a resort island just off the mainland which is connected by a bridge (it's a short distance to the airport too) and was formerly owned by an MP. Contrary to popular belief, he doesn't own it, he rents it for quite a high sum per month, which could explain why he'd be looking for a place of his own. I'd have to look up which prominent families have homes in Saar that would allegedly make him want to buy it on the spot, regardless of whether it's still occupied. The visiting malls in Manama bit's a little fishy, as no sightings of him have emerged plus his chauffered car would probably have royal plates...not a very good thing to have when passing by areas full of people who aren't too fond of the royals or the government these days (google "Decree 56" for one pretty good reason. i warn ya, it's not very pleasant). Awful lot of marches and the odd riots there...not good for a quick getway...besides, the area he's in has a theme park and a mall or two of its own, so he's probably just starved for attention lol

A judge has ordered lawyers for Michael Jackson and ex-wife Debbie Rowe to submit copies of missing papers from their divorce file.
Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider on Monday ordered Rowe's lawyer, Marta Almli, to submit duplicate copies of Rowe's 2001 motion to terminate her parental rights to her two children with Jackson.

A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed against Michael Jackson by a man who claimed that the pop star molested him more than 20 years ago.

Bartucci alleged he was sexually assaulted by Jackson and battered, held at gunpoint and cut with razor blades by the singer's bodyguards during a drive to California and back.

Bartucci claimed he remembered the incident only when he saw a TV show about child molestation charges brought against Jackson in California. Jackson was acquitted in that case.

Koerner had argued that Bartucci was so badly injured by Jackson's bodyguards -- including having his head slammed on the pavement -- that the trauma caused him to blank out all memory of it.

As amazing as it is, I don't think he had to pay a penny. Very star struck, imo. Juror still stands by his verdict, btw.

Hello to my old websleuth buddies.

he won't have as easy a time with the boy who filed in California, though--that realtionship is thoroughly documented with photos, videos, and the usual showering of inapprorpriately expensive gifts on the child & family.
