That's old news. They've been saying that for quite some time ever since he set foot in Bahrain last summer. Also, there's the little matter of buying said land (and given the location, I'd assume someone of influence, possibly a royal, already owns it and isn't going to hand it over just to make MJ look good). And that's not even taking into account that if he did actually convert, it would be to the Sunni branch of Islam (like his hosts) in a country with a Shiite majority, so attendance would not only be limited but you'd also have the more outspoken clerics denouncing why he's being treated so special given his history of odd behaviour.
