Ive heard a number of accounts that SG was scheduled to testify in a RICO case shortly after her "untimely" passing.
Any insight on this?
I know what Burke is, what he's involved in, what he "likes".
And I know there's been a systemic trickle down effect in SCPD - alliances, political agendas, even decent guys who think theyre doing the right thing by looking the other way or going along with script.
But if SG was scheduled to testify, that does not rule out Burke's involvement.
I'm just wondering what the story is (if there is one) concerning SG and a RICO case.
Any info appreciated

Sorry for being off topic, Hawkshaw, would you be so kind to have a look at other Long Island cold case if by any chance you recall anything about that case, or knew them by any miracle, or any bit of small information you might find or ask around about it to move this case forward? Anything will help a tones.

It is local West Islip Long Island woman, who disappeared in 1977 shortly after marrying local bank robber. She is still missing.

One min suspect in my book went to Brooklyn and got caught twice and let go twice by NYPD. He is believed to go into Manhattan with another suspect with the same initials

Im not sure how this comment slipped past me.
Are you stating that there are TWO POIs (or at the very least somehow associated with the case) that have been known to go into Manhattan TOGETHER to....? Pick up females? Sex workers?
I cannot stress how important this is and would ask for as much information as you are able to provide whether in the forum or by other means.
I am not inquiring out of general curiosity.
The reason I have stayed close to this case since the beginning is due to a personal experience.
If you are claiming there are two men associated with this case that are known to go into Manhattan together to pick up women, please try to expand as much as possible (age, build, career sector, general area of residence etc).
The same initials thing - would that be the initials that multiple ppl associated w this case seem to have?

If certain things I know from my personal experience coincide with what you know, I believe I may need to speak to someone to officially document an event that took place.

Not sure where I would go with this; I certainly wouldnt feel safe talking to one particular county pd.
But I suppose Im getting ahead of myself as your information and my experience may not match up at all.

I think he was just trying to get laid on the Cheap. But that's when things can go terribly wrong.

I still think it's interesting she was considered a "co-defendant" in that case... not just a witness against him. And, I think she, Diaz, and Pak obtained a few clients from their work with Ruis. jmo

Looking at all the names and addresses associated with First Professional Referral Services in NJ. F*lco's Ravioli? Joseph's Restaurant? Local Green? Man arrested for posing as an attorney? Leonard St, Sherman Ave., and of course "Kebab House".

I was just Google Earthing Oak Beach/Ocean Parkway to get a better visual of where these girls were placed. I notice a construction yard of some sort just up the hwy from where the girls/asian man were found. I tried to zoom in to get a better look at what kind of business/company was in there, all I could get was a truck that said CHL Posillico and then another name after that. Does anyone know anything about that yard? If you look closely there are some metal buildings, who knows maybe someone that worked there used that place to commit the murders? I'm sure this has been noticed before, it just stood out to me.

There are quite a few reports of these people taking what you call "trips''. I guess the most interesting of all is the one Burke supposedly took to Thailand. There were others who were said to go with him and have since denied they went there.
I had some loose electronic surveillance put on him with out of state sources. Placed him at a place in midtown Manhattan called "Buccaneer", and another place in lower Manhattan called the Piano Room. From what I'm told that place has a set aside for dressing up any way you like. We then believe he spent considerable time in a gay bar called Blanches in Massapequa.

My information is they got him in Brooklyn soon after Spota took office. At least twice while soliciting hookers. NYPD had to call SCPD to come pick him up because they refused to let him go without him being escorted.

One good thing about Burke is there is usually a great story attached to him.........like the time he got found in his Dept SUV behind BJ's

Everybody made nice nice and money was exchanged and it all went away. One guy is a police official in Suffolk and the other was a businessman.

The civilian commits suicide very close to the day they found SG. Now that fellow had a partner at a well known amusement park in Suffolk. Must be something in the water because that fellow took a Brodie, too........assuming they both killed themselves. Is it reasonable to believe BOTH killed themselves? Well, didn't SG cause to kill herself?
