Here is another You Tube video with a presentation. Good on the girl for working on it and I am sure she will post it right next time as we all make mistakes but this one is upside down which is a novel idea like being in the car:

Good for people giving it a go and this video is now the right way up:

Most of us on this board and other boards are here because we have a fascination with True Crime. I think most of us care about the victims and I would not like to be the one to say that a person did not. A few people are on these boards because they are in the unfortunate position of having a loved one who was the victim of a serious crime and some are LE Officers (even these have to have had an interest in crime and solving or preventing it to pick the career they did). There is that fascination with the darker side of humanity or a fascination with a puzzle there to be solved. Sometimes now though True Crime seems to merge with Popular Culture although it likely always has and it just manifests its self now in different ways. Although the JonBenet Ramsey case is not a subject in the Podcasts mentioned in this list it could be. I think small talk over dinner is perhaps taking it too far and a strange way to categorise True Crime Podcasts in with others about subjects such as Love Island:

Victims relatives have an enforced interest in the True Crime Genre and we hope of course we do not join them in this.

The JonBenet case seems to be one that people give a study and presentation on and I find this an interesting phenomenon. At the moment the case appears to be frozen and none of these presentations appear to hold out much hope for it thawing out:

Of course I like most people think those child beauty contests looked terrible and it did not help with the investigation and the cross over into popular culture of this case rather than it remaining what it was the terrible murder of a young child:

Of course many people on this board think the Ramsey's played apart in the murder and they are entitled to their opinions and they may be right. I do not think the Ramsey's were involved and if they were not they were very proud American's. Patsy was a proud American from West Virginia. JonBenet of course like all the child victims had her innocent before it was taken away from her and despite her songs did not really know what America was. My feeling is the person who killed her did not like America or anything that much and this is reflected in the nature of the Ransom Note. Here is a recent You Tube video which reflects the way poor JonBenet achieved her part in American history and popular culture in the most unpleasant and unfortunate way:

This is about another unrelated case but some people semi idolise offenders and this appears to be a heavy metal track named after the Golden State Killer:

jaejae,
Probably not, but what if he has photographs of JonBenet in his illegal collection?

.

Thanks for the post. Of course that might make it more likely as who obviously has a serious problem. I am influenced in my belief the offender was a paedophile and a serial killer.

jaejae,
If he is a serial killer, will he not have left forensic evidence at other crime-scenes?

I would say he has likely too many.

Poignant reconstruction shows how murdered JonBenet Ramsey would look now at 28

"JonBenet's father, John, has never been back inside the house where his daughter was found. …

Speaking about the final photo taken of his daughter, John said: "JonBenét was down on the floor playing.

"It was just a nice, wonderful Christmas party kids' picture. She was just playing, and it was probably the last photo that was taken of her."

John admits he struggled to look at pictures and videos of his daughter shortly after her murder.
But he now says the photos bring him joy. ...

John, a computer executive, and Patsy, a former Miss West Virginia, went on CNN to insist they had nothing to do with their daughter’s tragic murder. ...

JonBenet's dad, John, said he had broken a window into the basement at some point before the murder as he was locked out of the house. ...

John Ramsey has now re-married and has bravely managed to forgive whoever killed his daughter.

He said: "You have to realise that forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. It's a release of that anger, that desire for revenge and getting even. That can tie you down.""

One more report on the above subject:

Ariana Grande Quickly Backtracks After Joking About JonBenet Ramsey

Compared to what others have said I would say it is much ado about nothing but it does show the cross over to public culture.

Another article which relates to the JonBenet case in Popular Culture. My view is what Arianna Grande said was a mistake and not that bad and a lot better than what the likes of Laura Richards has said about Burke Ramsey:

Ariana Grande apologises after 'disgusting' joke about JonBenét Ramsey

A slightly disturbing image you could argue:
