The Key: Planted or Not? Impact?

The report from Colborn that was posted above is related to the process of collecting blood. Why would it contain anything about the key? Just as Lenks report is related to finding the key and contains nothing about collecting blood.
I am curious as to why anyone would compare two reports from two different officers about two different incidents and then imply corruption because they aren't the same?

Cause he found the key, That is the whole of his report..... That one mention. You know he was involved in much more. Plus hes collecting Steves DNA and it just so happens the Clean Key only has Steves on it. He should have written a report as he was doing things. He didnt even mention in any report about going over to steve's on the 3rd until 8-9 months later. When he had a meeting with KK. Rolls eyes He should have documented EVERYTHING he been part of. He LIED! simple as that. He should have put all that he would testify to in his legal report. JMO

The photos above of the bookshelf before and after the key discovery back up the court testimony.

As you can see, the items inside the bookshelf had been removed and were in the process of being put back. I can see how when they were pushed back in, the key would be dislodged.

If I hid a key behind a piece of my furniture, and someone came into my house and searching, they would not find that key unless they moved that piece of furniture. It is not a complicated situation that the defense paints it to be. Luckily the jury didn't fall for it.

This,

How do these people sleep at night?

How can anyone be o.k. with this?

Such a sad shame, IMO
They planted that key. I have no doubt about that. All the evidence points to it. Even KK says So what if they planted it. That little shelf never moved from the wall as Sgt AC testified to.

as you can see they moved those slippers to try to make it look more like the first picture including moving the dog back. The key was staged.

He don't even mention the key in his little report he contributed to.

But Lt. JL mentioned it in his report

Plus they put on legal documentation a change of story from one warrant to another.

Also this is my guestimation of that key in the shelf I think it would have been seen.

Why wouldn't a car be crushed immediately? Here's one reason: all salvageable parts would normally be stripped from any salvaged vehicle before being crushed. It's the standard thing done at salvage yards, and it's part of how they make their $$, selling used parts to others. Could be that was the intent and SA didn't get around to it for whatever reason. Why take the license plate off a vehicle if you *want* the vehicle to be found? Why take the time to put tree branches, wooden posts, lean stuff up against a vehicle if your intent is that the vehicle be seen and found? To me those are things to try and quickly obscure a vehicle. Not very well, but somewhat.

Why disconnect the battery? Again, this is part of normal operation at a salvage yard. If a battery is still good, then it can be sold to someone else. Disconnecting it keeps the battery from being drained. It also means the car cannot be easily stolen by someone hotwiring it and driving away.

One could certainly argue that if the RAV4 was planted, whoever did so with the intent of making it look like SA tried to obscure the car from the rest of the salvage yard employees and started to prepare the car to be stripped and crushed.

I sincerely doubt that SA was planning on stripping the car of its valuable parts and selling them for profit. If he is indeed guilty, most likely he was trying to hide the vehicle from his own family until he could crush it and ship it off.

Killers don't really " lock " doors to preserve evidence, do they?
I don't think this has any bearing on guilt or innocence, but in light of the fact that he kept the key, it makes sense that he locked the doors and in my opinion points more toward his guilt than innocence.

It takes time to put stuff on and around a vehicle. You have to go find stuff, carry it, place it, go get more stuff, etc. That's time that someone who doesn't belong on that property could be spotted by any of the various residents and/or visitors.

Further, it takes time to take off a license plate and then take it elsewhere on the property, closer to the Avery trailers, to put inside another vehicle (perhaps a locked vehicle). You have to have the proper tool to remove license plate bolts. You have to walk around the property (or drive around I suppose) and take a chance at being seen getting into another car to put a license plate inside.

Someone who didn't belong on that property could have easily been spotted by one of the Avery's. And all of that takes additional minutes of time. And let's not forget how close that SUV was parked to other vehicles. Did police plant the other vehicles around the SUV as well?

Why would someone want to spend any more time then they absolutely had to 'planting' a vehicle?

Back to the key: who had possession of the key? The RAV4 doors were all locked. The other vehicles doors on the Avery yard were also locked. That's one clue. Some actions are automatic. You do them overAndoverAndover and you don't stop to think about it.

THEY NEVER MOVED THE FURNITURE. Its in the exact same spot on the wall it was the first day they entered.

They did. They were in the process of putting everything back.

if you believe that more power to you. I do not agree. The key looks as staged as the Car was.

And He still should have written these facts in his report, It was not. because they were going to present the case like Manitowoc was never on the property, like they claimed in the news media. LIARS bunch of liars. The LE out there holds NO credibility with me.

Since when does LE "clean up" and put things back when they are doing a search? Or were they trying to stage the pictures... not realizing others already took pictures?

Yes! How lucky for the "framers" that there was a convenient little spot that just so happen to be vacant right near the crusher that just happened to fit her car. Phew! Luckily they didn't have to move any of the other vehicles to fit it in.

I think they staged it to look like they moved the slippers and there it was. Look at the picture coming down the hallway. The slippers were no longer in that position as the first picture. and the statue was gone. They moved that all back. Shakes head. I have no respect for any of the law enforcement in Man. Co, Cal Co. and the AG and DOJ up there. Think the whole state government needs to be investigated from the top down to the Corrupted Juror. JMO

It was the only vehicle in that row that was "double parked" so not sure how that is a convenient little spot. It made it stand out even more.

It was a very small room. For them to get back through the door it would have had to be out back. Nothing to do with them cleaning up.

His report was about collecting blood, not the key.
