hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...now that's interesting...

i love it that the city police, ( perhaps, quite likely! ) were viewing your blog.......

hopefully the police are keeping all thier info 'close to the vest', and we'll hear news soon...........

did my part...emailed greta ...................why aren't the networks pickng up on this story ?

Oh! Good idea! I'll email her as well....Nancy Grace too! Let's see if we can bombard them with emails about the case so that maybe we can get it in the news more. LE wouldn't be able to stay too silent, Greta and Nancy are just the ones to get something out of 'em!

Glad you guys are doing this. I fear if I do it more than once it looks like egregious self-promotion for my blog, so it's really encouraging when others feel as I do. Like I said, it's been over 2 weeks, so the lack of news is now just weird.

I am sure someone posted this but...
on Raven's "Journal", he posted:

"

Its amazing how the choices I've made have been through tunnel vision! I haven't always made smart decisions in my life and due to some bad business decisions I am starting over. Its going to be a long road, but my wife and I have endured many obstacles and as we focus our life around Christ we hope to be blessed with the strength to carry on.

I am pursuing my BA in Business Finance full time right now while I continue to work full-time in the IT industry. I will have 30 days off from school every 5 weeks and during those thirty days I plan on getting technical certifications in the IT field.

My plan is to get back to Virginia in 10 years to teach and coach soccer. In the meantime I will continue to work in the IT field and hope to add "IT NETWORK SECURITY CONSULTANT" to my list of responsibilities in the next 12 months.

"

My plan.... not our plan, but my plan...

Many obstacles?? I wonder what obstacles he's referring to?

Well, hopefully they'll get the drift with my emails (if they ever read them)! I'M SICK OF MICHAEL JACKSON TRIAL NEWS! Anyone else with me?

Totally with you. To me it won't even be real news unless he is convicted -- which, the pure obviousness of his weirdness notwithstanding, he probably won't be.

Greta V at Fox News does have a blog entry up today stating that just because a story isn't in the headlines doesn't mean she's not following it, they just don't do anything until there is new news. I wonder if she is in part responding to such e-mails. She doesn't mention Abaroa, but she does mention the Mazzara/Insogna murder in Napa, CA, and missing attorney Ray Gricar. So maybe they are watching this as well. I do get hits from someone in Santa Maria frequently, which is where her producers and correspondents could be at times covering the Jackson trial, but who knows?

An unrelated but interesting link for y'all, for casual reading -- my attorney friend -- not my attorney, just a blogging buddy who happens to be a lawyer -- CLEWS, The Historic True Crime Blog.

Laura introduced me to the huge obsession that could sap all my time lately if I wanted, newspaperarchive.com.

(P.S. -- I didn't ask Laura any legal questions, she just offered, which is more than welcome. I think it's gauche to ask unprompted, though.)

Thank you for the link MisterA! It will give me something to do tonight while my fiance' is working!:waitasec:

OMG!!!! I got a reply!!! See below...I doubt it was really Greta, but you never know!!! The first part is my reply to the email I received from the email I sent this morning. (Confused yet??) Should I have said more in my reply other than providing a link and the state?? Wouldn't Greta already know this information??

Durham, North Carolina

I have included a link for you! Hope that helps!

Thank you!

That is great that someone is reading some of our emails.

I had emailed Greta with 3 different media links ( with the names of the news outlets in NC) with the details of the murder. I used the form on the " On the record" to contact Greta or her staff and never received a reply.
Now I wonder if I should have used some other method to email her or her staff..

Maybe it takes a certain number of specific case inquiries before they look at something ?

I emailed just two short paragraphs from my yahoo email address. I didn't provide any links or anything the first time.....I just told her that I was surprised she hadn't talked about it on her show and that I felt Janet deserved more airtime than "some Runaway Bride" or "Michael Jackson for that matter!" Oh yeah, told her I love her show too! Maybe that helps? I was reading that they have a 2:30 phone staff conference every day to go over different cases....maybe they were getting ready to talk about it in their meeting?! Let's hope so!

The only thing I keep wondering is....if Greta didn't know where Janet was murdered....then there is a serious issue with the lack of media coverage! Much worse than I thought, is what I mean. I just think it's weird when "On the Record" emails ME asking where someone was murdered? Especially since everyone else emailed them first and PROVIDED LINKS....

Anyway, let's hope she brings this case to light. Lord knows Janet deserves it!

OMG I have to be away for a day and look at all the excitment

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

We want GRETA!

I'd give her every bit of info you could, in that case. Greta probably did answer you, I think, and she might have meant "in the home?" or elsewhere.

Oh great MisterA....now I feel truly blonde! DUH!

Should I email again with more info or have I already screwed this all up?

No, I don't think you screwed up. E-mail her everything you got, is what I say!

BTW; this entry at my blog -- http://www.planethuff.com/darkside/archives/000719.html

is back up, having been edited to be a little more even-handed. All the links to Abaroa's websites are intact, however.

When did you receive the e-mail back? What time of day? Just curious to see if they were doing any research I could spot in my web statistics.

MisterA, I sent you a PM with all of the header so that maybe you could check it out or match it up to your records. Let me know if that doesn't help...according to yahoo it was 2:40 pm....which would be right after their meeting or right in the middle of their meeting right?

I don't want to seem like a freak or psycho fan by emailing her all this stuff. Maybe we could put together all the links or I could forward Greta MisterA's blog? What do y'all think??

I'd appreciate the traffic, but for a realistic reason; I've aggregated a number of the most relevant links to Abaroa's sites and organized descriptions of the content of the pages and my thoughts on the same all in one or two blog entries. I'm already planning a somewhat humorous entry eventually on the "Google Girls" and me -- am I the lone "google boy?" where's all the dudes? -- being "on the case." So much interesting stuff goes on on messageboards between people and it never seems to get blogged about. I've linked messageboards, recommended them, you name it, but it looks like a lot of bloggers ignore them. Just an observation.

I appreciate you keeping the links ... I pop in all the time just because I know they are easy for me to get at.

I think your observation about the bloggers ignoring the boarders is interesting because as a boarder, I have always ignored the bloggers ... that is until you. :blowkiss:

Okay, I just replied to the email again...

I sent a link to your blog MisterA since that will be a wonderful source of info for the whole case. Okay....so now we just wait and cross our fingers I guess or do I need to open another Yahoo address and email again:waitasec: ? LOL

Hey MisterA, did any of that header stuff help you?

Aw, shucks. The funny thing is, blogging and messageboards have so much in common. They're like cousins, in my opinion. Funny phenomenon, huh?

Oh, yes. Thanks. Looks like someone has been googling this one, etc. from up there. Doesn't mean squatdoodle till it hits the airwaves, but it's a bit encouraging.
