Hello, all! This is my first post. Hope I do this correctly!
I have some thoughts regarding the varying handwriting and note orientation.
The Es in "These Eyes" match the Es on the BST ID. As anyone who has had to sign their name on that tiny line can attest, my signature on my IDs never truly represents my signature. Pair that with the sense of urgency I typically get in the tag agency and it's bound to look at least a tiny bit "off." She had probably not had a ton of practice writing BST out also. That leads me to believe that she could have written out "These Eyes" in a hurry or perhaps she was excited and anxious about the prospect (assuming she meant photo shoot).
I naturally hold my pencil different than the standard way. Once I got to first grade this was corrected, and I now find myself switching between the two grips. This results in two different handwritings. My natural way is slightly slanted, sloppy, and loose. The traditional grip results in a more upright print that is almost forced. Perhaps she had that same thing going on for her.
Finally, if "These Eyes" and "402 months" were written first* her handwriting could have changed due to age, arthritis, personality shift, or practicing a different style.
* I also wanted to add that it is possible "These Eyes" and "402 months" were written first as they are closer to the"proper" orientation of the paper and suggest a notes sheet that was left by the phone. Perhaps after a certain time the sheet got flipped, and she never turned it back. Whew, that was longer than I intended! Anyway I think you all are awesome at what you do here!
