'The OC' s actress Mischa Barton sues her mom

Mischa Barton, the actress best known for her role in 'The OC', has filed a lawsuit against her mom.

Mischa alleges that her mom Nuala Barton, who was also her manager, stole money from her throughout her career and also kicked her out of a $7.8 million Beverly Hills home purchased with Mischa's own money.

The lawsuit also claims the mother is withholding royalties and lied about the amount the actress was paid for a 2013 film so she could pocket the difference, in addition to her 10 percent management fee. The suit does not state how much the actress believes has been stolen, but claims her mother has refused to provide accounting details.
