http://openoffice.org is a good free program. I used it and opened fine for me. Also, google documents should open it.

I have a question. The spreadsheet (which is great, BTW), although created in Excel, is saved as a word document, so shouldn't everyone be able to open it with a word processing program? It is no longer in an Excel format.
