After retiring from my accounting job two years earlier, and with my three children having flown the nest, when I heard about cuddle carer roles, I jumped at the chance to train for the position.

I'd always adored babies and desperate to give back to the community, I'd found my calling.

Oh, how wonderful! Cuddling does so much for emotional and intellectual development. What a way to serve the next generation while making yourself happy, too!

During the pandemic, I took a volunteer job walking the doggies at a local Rescue shelter. I did it just to be able to cuddle the pups all afternoon.
