The Ramseys are Cleared

Maybe she should read Steve Thomas's book!
Where is our dear Tricia???

Do you have a copy you want to lend me? I'll read it. But, I read PMPT also, and read over at the A Candy Rose site and nothing has swayed me to say they have done it.

Well we know Patsy was sweating the small stuff when she & JB argued about what she had to wear to the party.

Not saying the bed wetting DID set her off your argument doesn't hold up against the facts.

Hi LI

A parent telling a child to change clothing isn't an argument. It's a decision.
And the kid whines about it....so what? She survives cancer (so she thought at that time) and she kills her beloved daughter...nah.

Personally....I think the things they ALLOWED JonBenet to wear in pagents and her participation in them may have attracted a pervert into their home who killed her. Now that must have been hard to live with.

What if the mystery dna all came from the cloth used to wipe JB's vaginal area after the attack?

Where did the cloth come from? Where did it end up? Seems like a very strange thing for an intruder to take.... wouldn't he take a PERSONAL item of the child's if he's some murdering pedophile???

Well not to sound gross, but he did wipe her vaginal area with it. I guess that's as personal as you get.

Yeah Tex, that's been my opinion too. :( I think, in retrospect, that would be hard for any parent to live with, without feeling a little guilty.

An item like that would probably provide many hours of intense enjoyment for the sick freak that would commit this kind of crime. I can imagine he would ah... "use" it frequently while reliving the moments in his mind.

Hi Pepper

To know something you thought was a fun activity could have led to something so terrible....

Yes, but it's not what you expect to be taken as a trophy....

it doesn't personally identify his victim so he can remember the child.

I thought the dna found in her panties were found in a drop of blood?

And that DNA just happens to match with what was found on her long underwear?

I don't believe in coincidences...especially in murder cases.

Plus if that were true that person would be easily found.

imoo

How do you explain a three page ransom note written in the house, and a practice note found in the trash?
And why? JB was murdered there at the home...no need for a ransom note.
Unless you're desperately trying to throw off the police.

The DNA found in the drop of Jon Benets blood was from a secretion of some kind, *not* skin cells. Probably saliva. Unless Patsy had her hands licked while they were being shaked, I just can't see how that would have gotten there. You've got skin *and* secretion DNA from the same unknown person... I have a hard time believing that is a coincidence.

"The thing is, there is more than enough evidence to satisfy everyone who comes down on either side of this case. Maybe this is like politics and religion -- you can talk about them but it will almost always get ugly and no one will change their mind."

That's for sure, and I never have made up my mind. Unless this DNA matches that of a murdering pedo that gets caught in the future I don't think it will ever be solved.

Sweat is a secretion. Sweaty hands.

Well...Hi there Blue Eyes!

Good to see you, as always. I was kinda worried for awhile here.....me and Wudge are on the same page! LOL

I just always felt in my gut the Ramseys didn't do this to their daughter.

Please read~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The paintbrush!~:eek::eek::eek::eek:

The paintbrush was touched by the killer to make the garrote. The paint brush was touched by the killer to insert the end of it into JBR.

The killer had to hold the paintbrush to break it. If there were ALREADY male DNA on the paintbrush, when the killer broke the paintbrush to make the garrote, he/she could have gotten it on his hands and it would have transferred to the sides of JBR's long johns as well as off of the inserted paintbrush to intermingle with her blood and onto her panties!

I want to know what male was likely to have touched Patsy's paintbrushes....

Someone please tell me how this is not a logical transferrance of DNA to both places...

If the killer wore gloves his/her dna might not located anywhere but the male dna already on the painbrush sure would....

I read it and I think it's a good explanation. There's just so much going on with everything on TV and I'm reading two message boards, sometimes i don't answer right away. You would think the lab would have tested the paintbruch for DNA. Of course we don't know the results but if it had the same male DNA on it you can bet Mary Lacy would have let everybody know by now.

My guess is that's going to be the catch--it's not necessarily the SAME; there just aren't enough DNA markers to prove it's NOT.

News is reporting the results from the lab prove it is the same DNA in all 3 samples. Matched to one unknown male. Are you thinking of mitochondrial DNA (that's been around for quite some time)? This is new technology they're saying. not mito

The results, reported to prosecutors in March, indicated the newly discovered DNA matched the DNA found earlier, and was not from the Ramsey family.

I personally think he did it BEFORE the Ramsey's came home. Wrote the letter. He wasn't afraid someone was going to walk in on him because he knew they weren't home and knew the layout of the house. He KNEW the Ramsey's. This person is not just some random person, IMO. Then he hid in the house and waited.

Or he came in wrote the note while they slept and then took JonBenet. But, IMO it was written before not after.

Hi evelyn

How does leaving your daughters body in the basement throw off the cops?

Yes, but I seem to remember they DID have a rough time getting ready for the party.

I never believed Patsy snapped either.... I always felt if there was no intruder (and that's how I lean)..... the key to all this is Burke.

I believe the TWO kids were up that night... maybe JB wet the bed & she went to Burke or he was already up. Snacks in the kitchen & then maybe roaming around the house because they were too charged up to sleep between Xmas AND their upcoming trip(s).

I think a snack.... some very normal sibling teasing, fighting & then some innocent horseplay..... resulted in a tragic accident later than night.

To me, it makes good sense that Patsy would want to protect Burke after her daughter is mortally hurt & BOTH parents would do anything to fix things so he was not destroyed.

Mike Kane was just on Dan Abrams show. He still isn't convinced either. He mentioned the transfer from the panties being a possibility. Now that truly is one person who knows all the evidence and he's still saying, "No way". (My words.) That has to be worth something too.

People can still buy Steve's book - as a matter of fact - it is a must read for all in America, not just case followers.
