Due to the fibers on PRs jacket being on both the garrotte , masking tape, and paint tray, has it been considered that this was not the original device that caused the strangulation but was re-staging of what actually happened? The original rope having evidence of who killed her was taken from the home when JR left.
The staging evidence was a screw up on PRs part.
I dint believe there were 2 murders.

There has been speculation that JonBenet was manually strangled, and the ligature was used as a prop in the staging afterwards.

The petechial marks on her skin around the throat ligature strongly suggest otherwise.

Can you please explain the petechiae below the ligature in the photos of JBR? Hint, they actually are not petechiae. Any one who has expertise in this field will tell you this.

They are evidence of skin trauma from the placement of the Garrotte. Because she was face down and prone, the blood accumulated at this location after the blood vessels were damaged. I am not convinced it occurred while alive. The autopsy needs reviewing.

Petechiae don't occur below points of strangulation in any case. They are due to cutting off venous return to the heart. Petechiae should only be above the ligature. The misinterpretation of this autopsy is part of the problem in this case.

Some think that the rope/cord is similar to the one used to hang the model airplane from the ceiling of Burke's room. Cutting it with the Swiss Army knife is another possibility. On a side note, The Zodiac said in one of his letters that he used airplane model glue on his finger tips to avoid leaving fingerprints.

Of course, the Rs disputed the autopsy findings for reasons of their own.
