curious why peeps think he's sitting at the bottom of the shower rather than on the built-in seat or even just leaned up against the wall. If there a broader pic that shows this?

There is no shower seat in his shower. This was a small shower. The sitting on the shower floor photo (not the full on face photo) shows the floor of the shower clearly.

can you link it, please! I've viewed tons of pics here there and elsewhere, but haven't seen this specific photo. Or at least haven't recognized it as the one y'all are referring to.

What is that dark object in the bottom right corner of the last pic of Travis (torso sitting in shower), something dark just by the heel of his foot?

I was just getting ready to ask the same thing. A knife or gun???????

I seen that too.... BUT... I think it's the prosecutors pen... he would typically use it to point at different things in the pictures. My first thought was gun LOL but I'm pretty sure they would have noticed it and pointed it out too ;-)

ok.. in that picture... are his legs crossed? and where are his arms? is he holding them up in the air? tbh, it's the first time I've really noticed... but he has hairy legs, and I thought he didn't like hair... maybe that was just hair in certain places LOL at first I was thinking, hmmm maybe he's shaving, but I don't think he did his legs/arms. I can't think of where his right arm would be except for up ... but why?

I think TA was a victim of sexual abuse, and I might be roasted for saying that but it's how I feel. Anyone remember being disgusted at the Debra Lafave case? That kid was mesmerized at what he'd never experienced before. And what about the Mary Kay Letourneau case? She seduced a 13 year old, had two of his children while in prison, and married him when she was released.

I know Travis was not a child, but if he was a virgin as others say he was it's not a huge stretch to imagine the power her sexual advances might have had over him. And from the glimpses we've seen of the kind of person she is, it's not a stretch at all to see how she would have taken advantage of that.

I wouldn't say Travis was sexually abused by Jodi, but I do believe Jodi used Travis' guilt and shame about having sex with her as tools of manipulation. Personality-disordered people seem to have a knack for homing in on a person's weaknesses in order to control the person. The other thing is the very "wrong-ness" of the sex probably made it that much more enjoyable, ensnaring Travis even further and making it that much more difficult for him to free himself. It's such a tragedy because, from everything I've read about Travis, his religion was very important to him. It wasn't just an act.

My heart goes out to his family. Every time I see those last "alive" photos, I keep wishing that the story will end differently, that he will be able to escape but of course, tragically, that didn't happen.

I think it is some sort of sex toy thing----the same thing that TA is holding up in one of the pics that some may (mistakenly) think is TA giving "the finger". Look closely at that object in both pics....:what:

We see his left leg up towards his chest. Can't see the right leg. Right arm appears to be resting on his right leg or on the way down to his right leg. Left arm appears to be up and could be hiding his face, wiping away water from his face, or any number of things.

It is the pen that the State attorney is holding and pointing with. There is no sex toy thing in the photo at all.
