I'm not worried.
Whoever the defense calls as a witness
he will have a chance to cross.
All he has to do is ask them questions
he already knows the answers to,
---------------
He could have called 50 more witnesses,
and several experts on cell records computer forensics,
how to steal passwords,etc.
He could have had the jury listen to hour
upon hour and they might never understand.
The defense could bring in more witnesses to dispute what they
first set said and compound their confusion.
They could have had 300 more sidebars,
He could've presented emails and 82,000 txt messages.
Left the jurors confused and worn out..
Really what more could he have accomplished?
He proved 12 simple simple facts.
♦Jodi went there in a rented car with
♦Jodi dyed her hair to conceal her identity.
♦Jodi did what she planned to do that day.
♦Jodi left.
♦Jodi denied seeing him that day.
♦Jodi denied she was even near Mesa.
♦Jodi's pictures proved she was there.
♦Jodi admitted Travis was killed in a heinous fashion.
♦Jodi she admitted she is the one that killed him.
♦Jodi stated she wants the death penalty
♦Jodi does not want to spend her life in jail.
♦Jodi herself gave the beginning and middle and
crescendo of the story.
◘ The jury will write the ending.
It doesn't matter what the defense conjures up next.
IMO :seeya:
This has made me feel 100% better lol
Thank you! I think I see what you mean: Martinez is allowing all the evidence to speak for itself instead of pointing every little detail out.
he wants the Jury to arrive at these conclusions by themselves.
I think that's pretty smart. Don't chuck a whole lot of information down their throats and confuse them more. Give them the basics, the truth!
