As far as we know they showed all of the photos that were taken that day. All of the photos that Jodi tried to destroy. The State had no choice but to show every photo that was taken as they are all part of the evidence. To not do so would leave room for the defense to try and paint the State as to holding something back. If Jodi did not want those photos shown in court she had options.........don't take the photos, take the sim card with her and the biggest one of all, don't kill Travis. Unfortunately some may not like having those photos aired in court but again, there was no choice. The photos are part of the evidence that clearly puts Jodi there during the day of the crime.

MOO

I think it's also important to show all the photos in order to show which ones were deleted and which were not. Plus, those pictures fly in the face of Jodi's claims of Travis being abusive. Whatever Jodi says about them will not be credible at all.

Just stared at it again, and tried to make my eyes go all wiggly like you do in one of those puzzles - nada.
My only thought - could that shiny thing be an eyelet on her shoe? But I though it looked as if she were stocking footed in the other.
I'll check it tomorrow with fresh eyes, and hope for a revelation. haha

That's a new view. Most people see it as she thinks she can
lie her way out of it so she isn't concerned. Either that or they think she's void of emotion.

When she lies, its as if she is telling her own version of a fantasy, enjoying every minute of it. She is a pathological liar. Her voice just really bothers me, lol.

That's what I was thinking! She is in a sock in the one of her foot. Then the black boot is an example to make the visual easier. The third one looks like dragging but it's not on white

I can't wait to hear why she couldn't have run away when she was dragging him.
That chart would be very helpful. hint hint lol

Sometimes she seems honestly delusional
like she makes herself believe it's all true

I got the distinct impression from listening to the camera dude's testimony over, and over, and over lol that the photos that were not deleted were not at all interesting or relevant since he doesn't even know what was depicted. Leads me to believe that they weren't even from the same day and did not involve Travis at all. I'd like to know what they were anyway, though. I found it odd that he didn't/couldn't even give a general description of what was not deleted.

I want to know why she went to visit her abusive x to begin with...
Why she continued to communicate with him.
Why she didn't change her phone number.

I already know. I don't even know why I typed that.

ladonna,
I can't wait to hear the rest of that story.
I got the niggling feeling her Mom was in on helping her flee. I'm with Jean - I think there's a lot of info the Mom could give us.
If the gun was for her protection, how on earth could she have even gotten to it if it was so well hidden?

Shades of Scott Peterson and his mom ...

Temple worthy is pretty much living to a higher standard as a Morman
such as no caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol or sex.

Or fun! J/K

I agree and I think there may have been some truth in Jodi saying the memory card could have been from another camera for some of the photos. It is easy to share a memory card if the cameras use the same card.

This is what I meant earlier when saying I wish PA would just share all they know about up front. If the defense ends up proving that some of the photos were from another camera, it will come across as if PA was trying to hide that and the jury will get really pissed. Those date/times were probably from some of the photos, but maybe not all from that day. It is really strange the way the date/time is shown. It is almost like manually superimposed by LE rather than the camera doing it.

I think PA should have just told all they knew about all of the photos and not pick and choose. Anything the defense shows about the photos that is different will make PA seem like they were trying to hide something. Even if it is not important to them, it will seem important.

Where's my slight feeling of compassionate sadness for Jodi that she messed up and ruined her life? She gives so little geniune anything it's hard to trust she's human. I feel sorrow and grief for the family and friends of Travis who have to see the absolute horror Jodi visited upon Travis.

Hi everyone

I followed this case about 2 weeks ago on GMA. I was trying to look up more info on this case when this site pulled up.

I believe JA will be charged with crime of passion.

The one thing I don't get is why did she brutally murder TA 27 times. What led her to doing this?

<snipped>.

While it might not ACTUALLY fit with this case,
abuse victims do do these kinds of things. Plenty of
women believe a man ( or vice versa) when he says he's changed.
Many victims even feel they deserve it. They feel
if they just do as their abuser wants then nothing
bad will happen. If it was actually true that Travis was
abusive the idea would be that Jodi thought
if she could just do the right things everything
would be ok or this would be a post abusive phase
where he was being sweet and seemed remorseful.

That's why they are bringing on the domestic violence expert because
she will tie up all those kinds of loose ends.

You know what I just noticed....the time stamps on Travis's nudes say 1:45 and 1:46, but I can't see the time on Jodi's. It would be interesting to see if they follow in time.

Jodi:

1:42:53 (full body)
1:44:00 (from behind)

My own little rant: When exactly do we say enough is enough - adults are responsible for their own actions and decisions?

Looking at it this way this is not a murder trial - it is a trial to decide who "abused" who.

Welcome to the thread. Many previous threads here about this case and when trial starts again, it will get real exciting in about a week or so here.

IMO,
As far as why stabbed so many times, a lot of people feel she wanted travis all to herself and if she couldnt have him nobody can. A jealous rage that she could not go on the cruise with him, as he was going with some other girl. What is so strange is she first had sex with him to let his guard down. Really bizarre. She obviously is a very sick and twisted and evil person with little or no empathy.
