Are you referring to the photograph that is time stamped at 5:30:30 in the shower? I don't know if it is just me but it appears as though there is a dark substance (blood) travelling down TA's back and underneath his bottom. JMO

Yes - that picture!

I thought that at first too, but it looks more like shadow to me. If it were blood you would think you would see it mixed into the water and running down the drain...

The other things that really bothers me are;

1. Vulnerable position for a man to be in - almost "fetal"...
2. No head in the picture.....very telling IMO, almost dehumanizing him via the camera

I didn't do you know which one or have a link? thanks

popsicle, the only time I think I've ever seen that photo was flashing on the screen during testimony...arrrgh.

I also think it's really strange that the prosecution didn't show that Jodi never actually visited with a "friend in LA". Her story of being in the LA area was based upon her visiting a friend. Then, she said, she spoke to TA and decided, "hey it's only 5 hours, what the heck."

BUT the investigative report shows she told Flores she NEVER MET WITH A FRIEND IN LA. Who drives the length of the state of California to visit with a friend with whom you never even see? That's like a 10 hour drive!

I don't understand why the prosecution didn't point this out. Since she didn't see a friend, she had no other reason to be that far south unless she was on her way to AZ.

The jury saw her interrogation where Jodi says that she never met with the friend she intended to see in LA. In fact, she never had even made plans with that Laura girl in LA to visit -- she had just called Laura and was waiting to hear back from her; meanwhile she traverses the whole state of California in a rental car to visit Laura, even though she had not heard back from her. Uh huh ....

They have to streamline their case. If not then the defense team will use that in the appeal and say the case was too accumulative and piling on.

It really doesnt matter if she met with the friend or not. She has already admitted she killed Travis and was there.

That is why the state's case was much shorter than most cases we see. All Juan had to do is put on evidence that the crime was premeditated. He more than put on enough evidence to prove that BARD and beyond, imo.

IMO

I've seen a photo of strands of alleged pillow fringe in what looks to me like the bathroom floor. Is that the one?

I don't think so but maybe? It looks like lots of strands of long black hair under several pools of blood. :(

Wow, what a great post. Can you please send this to Juan Martinez to use in his closing statement? Great writing...:gthanks:

:floorlaugh: You keep sending things for the prosecution to use in closing...he will be there for 2 days. :floorlaugh:

OMG, that "lump" in the hallway is Travis, I think. :(

I couldn't see the pant leg dragging picture until it was lightened, either, but when they were just comparing that pic with the hallway pic, the blood streaks look the same.

Really wish this state had the sunshine law - I want to see all the texts, and everything that was on their computers.

Ironic that the commercials keep mentioning "removing pubic hair". lol

I remember that the two largest sponsors during the Casey Anthony's trial were Target and Febreze. I remember thinking that it was so tacky airing these commercials during the trial of a baby killer.:furious:

Edited to add: there are just some really great minds/writers on this forum..glad I found you guys! I was hunting and pecking on Facebook before I popped over here.

I would love to know....how many decorative pillows he had and if they are all accounted for?

I'm thinking, Travis is dead, on the bathroom floor and in her attempt to stage the scene and create the two perp scenario ....she showered off, walked back to the bedroom, retrieved a decorative pillow to muffle the sound, stood over Travis, fired...stuffed him in the shower...and took her bloody clothes, the knife, pillow and gun with her.

Who is that woman they keep showing in the gallery of the courtroom.

The one who looks to have dyed very dark black hair?

I would think the stuffing of the pillow would be evident though. jmo

I keep thinking about the cost of renting and driving a car that far vs. flying. I feel sure that flying would have been a cheaper way to go but then of course she could not have brought the gun or a knife. Premeditation!

I guess I'm still confused about the cross when D brings up a witness.
If the DT brings up a text, or e-mail, can the state ONLY talk to those specific ones on cross examination, or can they go through all of them?

What is the sunshine law?
