Is the defense trying to say that there was some sort of witness tampering or what?

I'm suddenly wanting a Juan Martinez T-shirt! Good thing I wasn't in the courtroom I would have got fined and kicked out because I was cheering... especially when that gus guy said "I can understand English" and Juan said "Well, you're having a little trouble today" Ummmphhh!! That was good!

Thanks TigerBalm! Hey isn't that guy the same one who did an interview on NG or one of those shows? I remember seeing him on TV and he asked Jodi if she wore the magic underwear (Mormon) because he didn't feel one and she said no the magic was what is inside the underwear. I remember that. LOL and isn't he the guy that said that he had a Spanish couple and his Spanish wasn't very good and Jodi leapt right in and talked fluently to the couple. And this is after it was reported the Jodi aka the Whiz had completed her GED and could now speak in sign language and Spanish fluently?

If they call her... the first question should be: who told you that GS was put on the witness list?

To me, I think this was the point of the hearing. I am not sure why it even went into anything else, like who likes who, and who said what about who. lol I have to say, I am somewhat interested now in knowing how she did know that he was on the witness list, and within an hour or so?

Juan was on fire today! And who could blame him. Looks like the defense was taken in by that smarmy, smirking Searcy. Someone should have smacked that smirk off his face, althought I think the prosecutor might have when letting Searcy know what his colleagues think of him (center of attention, etc.).

Should the defense have been informed that the prosecutor was going to present witnesses in his defense? Why would the defense think Martinez wouldn't?

Is it me, but I think I saw Nurmi get a little flushed in the face when Hughes called him a liar!

In Session is saying that the prosecutor supposedly called the witness and told him that the defense attorney is a snake. I believe that's what is being said.

They are also saying that the witness is ticked off that he wasn't going to be called because he's a media .

I really don't know. Sky is by no means a fan of Jodi...it was at her insistence I believe that Jodi not come into their home any longer iirc.

I just don't see how she would/could help the defense in this case - unless it's related to her dealings with the defense attorney. But based on Chris' testimony it seems she might just confirm the defense lied to her about the precluded (read forged) letters.
