Hopefully Juan will help the jury to see that the spin is a bunch of bologna.

Speaking of bologna....

did anyone catch ole' NG talking to Sheriff Joe last night? He was talking about the bologna sandwiches, and then the 'brunch' menu popped up and showed the hoagie roll and pb, orange slices, ginger snaps....

NG was all in a twist about the ginger snaps, lol!:floorlaugh:

But I swear Sheriff Joe said NO TV, but that he was thinking about letting them watch Nancy's show and maybe the Cspan. (Nancy got all :blushing:)

Then that lady came on and said the prisoners have cable tv in the common room, including ESPN, etc.

:waitasec:

I still dont get how any jury would listen to a CELL MATE who has such a long rap sheet.

I have to doubt that the judge would allow this testimony.
I guess we'll find out at the evidentiary hearing.

Just want to say.... I just watched that documentary 'A letter to Zachary', whoever posted that link... owes me a box of kleenex!

Shockingly similiar behaviour to JA though.

Me too! Wanna split a flat of them from Costco?

Do we have a poll on what sentence we think JA will receive?

I think she will get LWOP...*IMO the DP should reserved for serial killers and mass/muliple murderers* MOO

I remember Ted bundy and a few others---but I get what you are saying :twocents: sometimes it seems to long. Back in the day when u got DP they didn't waste much time

It's ridiculous. And it also shouldn't take years to bring a case to trial, either. We need some reforms to the system to stop these continuances and lengthy appeals.

Could he have meant no TV in the cells?

Forgive me if this has been discussed previously, but have JA's computer records been published, i.e internet searches ? I'd be really curious to see if she was Googling "how to stab someone in the chest" or the like ....

Anyone ? Or is the prosecution saving this info for rebuttal ?

I think this is just the guilt phase and I think the penalty phase comes after the verdict. jmo

I hope LWOP , but I'm afraid it will be less. I do think she will play on her "celebrity" while in prison.

Matt McCartney, a former boyfriend who lives in California.

Not the same video I saw earlier but is the same name for boyfriend who will say that Jodi had bruising on her neck allegedly from Travis

If she actually HAD bruising, it was probably from some BDSM, not an angry Travis. IMO, Travis had red marks on his neck in the shower pics that could have been from something similar.

Jodi may have tried to LIE and say that the bruising was from being abused, but I call BS on that.

Could you remind me how much time between the murder and the interview?
I can't keep track.

It definitely sucks for innocent people.
It does take a lot of time to build cases, issue subpoenas, take depositions, though.

For JA, who cares? Whether she has a trial Monday or in 20 years, at least we know she is in prison and not free to be dating our friends/relatives.

What is weird is that it appears Travis and Jodi did not see each other in person after she left Mesa for California at the beginning of April. Travis started "Travis Alexander's Being Better Blog on April 14th. Did he send the t-shirt to Jodi? Did she order it? Did she have it made? Did she take the picture? Lots of questions.

Hmm. Maybe he had the shirts made up in anticipation of the blog? I know the blog was in part to promote his book. Maybe the shirts were ready to go for when he launched the blog?

Seems to me if the pros had anything hard from her computer, such as a search for "how to stab someone to death", they would have brought it up in their case in chief.

We do know that a forensic computer person is on the defense witness list. I have no idea why though.

I was curious also about what they may have found in the way of searches on her computer.

Yeah, but it sucks for the victim's families, too. I know it's alot of work, but seems the whole 'speedy trial' thing is passe.
