I know I am overstepping my bounds here, but have you ever considered making your own FB page?

You can make a fake name. FB says you can't, but lots of people have fake ones for playing games. I guess the FB police will soon be coming after me.

An F B account seems to really be helpful in this sleuthing business we are in

No, I'm sorry I can't. We are Facebook free here

O/T
Lamb Chop, if you're in a NE NC area where I think you may be, have you heard the unique "tidewater" accent yet? A bit like you hear from some Virginians -- it can be heard when someone says "thousand" or "pound" or "house," etc. It's an accent that goes back to the original settlers from England... (Sorry you're a bit homesick -- there are some beautiful areas in NJ.)

Yes. I lived in VaBch years ago when my husband was in the Navy so I am very familiar with this area. NJ natives have accents, too. I get a charge everytime I talk to my sister. I lived in Connecticut prior to NC, born in PA and never lived in NJ but I was close. I love the ya'll and how they say Ma'am here. lol

Nurmi would feel his prayers have been answered if she fired him.

It wouldn't surprise me either, she's evil and crafty. MOO

I don't think she can fire him at this point. Obviously if she has a problem she could ask the other attorney or write a letter to the judge. jmo

Off-topic but I loved the show "I Survived" it was on the BIO channel.... It's People that went through horrible crimes and natural disasters etc, but they survived..I like the show because the real victim tells their own experience and of course, they live to tell about it. I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know when it will come back on?

Oh, sounds good!! I'll have to see if i can find it "on demand" or somewhere & check it out!

I think the person that has that site also did a "CA" site too....It's just for attention/controversy from what I hear.

That makes sense - I'm happy not to give it any attention then!! Thanks for heads up!

I had someone steal something from me. I went and sat at the police station waiting for someone to come and take my case. I needed a case number in order to get reimbursed.

I waited and waited. I gave up.

I called another time after I saw the woman driving on the freeway. Nothing

Finally, after a few weeks, I called 911 eventually screaming into the phone to be recorded as nut job 100,000 I am sure.

I finally got to talk to a police officer and said all I needed was a case number. I did not live in the city limits even though the theft was in the city. That was major tuffy for them to figure out. :banghead:

Wow! It's takes police like 3 minutes to show up when I've called them. I used to call a lot when my previous neighbor would start beating on his wife.

Sometimes he'd hit her right out on the front lawn. I'd stand on my top step and yell that i was calling the cops.... I'd call in full view of him. ( I was across the street) I'd call every time the screaming started. LE always came quick. Sometimes they'd take him away and sometimes not.

Well, I would hope......how can an expert testify when the only person who can give them input is his killer????????????? jmo

I want to thank Katiecoo for the links to both documentaries: Dear Zachary and The Hillside Strangler. Especially during the trial hiatus.

They give such insights in to the psychopaths themselves but also to the people surrounding them. Ken Bianchi's common law wife had NO IDEA the monster she was living with, and she seemed quite normal and nice to me.

The Turner woman had Judges going to bat for her. WTH?

I mean, even the very sweet normal appearing hair stylist, who had never met Ken was willing to give him an alibi for a few days before she realized she couldn't do it!?

Much to think about indeed during this break.

I am also so sorry Katiecoo for what you have endured at the profound loss of your beloved sister. She is very proud of you for standing up and being her voice in court. She was with you there.

We aren't suppose to reference that sight here. fyi

IMO the site whose name that shall not be said here....was probably set up by her defense looking for straws to grasp! Lol

I do think people like her need to be studied...like bugs. Study their brains, etc.

Did you ever see the documentary on the Hillside Strangler?

He convinced MANY psychiatrists he had multiple personalities...until one uncovered the hoax of it all.

Wow, it's on youtube:

The Mask of Madness (Kenneth Bianchi) 1984 - YouTube

Edited to add, this is not AT ALL as tragic as Dear Zachary...but fascinating for those interested in personality disorders in particular sociopathy.

Wow. It's funny how all that stuff the standard psych testing of that time has all been discredited.

I agree. We need to use these caged criminals to figure out how to conclusively detect them - humanely, of course.

There is currently research that brain activity on MRI's can aid in lie detection. It would be great if that could be more aggressively pursued, but of course that requires $$, and science funding keeps getting cut...

linking to sites that go ********* cannot happen and we cannot discuss the content either (for very good reason)

I'm a pretty private person and fought against getting a FB for a long time, but I finally got one so I can read about different cases and such...I don't use my real name and only a few people know who I am.

I'm with you on that one. I use a "fakie" too.

I heard somewhere that she's also a handwriting expert? I haven't researched it yet. It's on my To Do list
