I dont even understand why this is an issue. She has admitted she killed Travis so of course she was able to drag his body to put it in the shower.

But dont laugh......well go ahead because it did look pretty funny at the time. The things my hubby does for me because he loves me.:floorlaugh: I am 5'4" and weigh around 117-120. Im old (66) but I do keep myself in very good shape and have been picking up heavy things throughout my life. My hubby weighs 190. I ask him would he get down on the tile floor and let me see if I could pull him and of course he obliged. I was surprised I had no problem pulling him. At first I pulled him by his wrists and then turned him around and pulled him by his legs...both ways he was rather easy to pull. I did put my hand up against the chair railing once and it did give me a little more traction. I had tennies on so I didnt slide or slip as I was making him do this experiment.:floorlaugh:

AND he was not wet and naked nor soaked in slippery blood either. I wub my hubby and never ever would I hurt him!:D

Great work Oceanblueeyes, now try it with him wet and naked! :floorlaugh: and report back.

I've done this very thing and I'm not a bad person. I don't see how have a friends best interest can be called 'creepy'. My brother brought a girl to my house when we were much younger. I had a bad feeling about her from the start... from the moment she walked through the door. I told my brother how I felt... not because I was creepy but because I loved my brother and didn't feel the woman he was with was worthy of him. Friends and family look out for one another. TA was an adult. He didnt have to listen to what his friends told him about JA... hindsight is 20/20 IF he had listened to them and got away from Jody NONE of us would be here today.

Btw... My brother listened to me and never saw that woman again. Good thing too because she never amounted to any good!

But was she an INVITED, OVERNIGHT GUEST in your home? IMO, if they had serious concerns, they should have told him before or after the visit, not whilst she was "asleep" under the safety of their roof. According to the Hugheses, they didn't like how JA affected his (and therefore THEIR) income.

you guys really need your own comedy show.. I was reading back thru this thread this morning and about died of laughter.

We're just getting warmed up for the cross examinations that are coming!

You're right, it would have been much better for them to discuss their feelings with TA when JA was not around. I think most people have said something that was overheard by someone that shouldn't have heard it, I know it has happened to me - oops!

But the bottom line is that they were right about her. And it was creepy of JA to be listening at the door, not to mention wrong to eavesdrop.

I don't understand those who keep insisting that TA "was not a good guy", etc... like that makes some kind of difference. I don't think anyone has ever said he was perfect, I certainly don't believe he was perfect. Everyone has flaws, including all of us. And almost everyone has done something in a relationship that has hurt the other person, so I hardly think he's unique in that respect. If the gender roles were reversed and JA's behaviors were committed by a man, I don't think anyone would bat an eye about calling the person who hacked into accounts, slashed tires, and crawled in the persons house through a doggy door a stalker and that behavior abusive. She committed the ultimate abusive act - she viciously murdered him.

I think JA knew that TA was slipping from her grasp and she did the only thing she could think to do in her psychopathic mind - kill him. There was no way she could let TA get away from her. She was going to stop him one way or another from being with anyone else. She admitted she couldn't let go.

I had to do more than simply click "like" for this post. You really captured what I wanted to say. Thanks!

I asked my husband to let our daughter drag him around in the hallway. I got the stink eye from him. LOL

P.s. I've done the same thing, for family. I have found that most times when a friend interferes in a relationship, the friendship goes, not vice versa. In the case of violence/abuse in a relationship I have both stayed friends & an open door if they needed me AND got into it, lost the friend for awhile.

I decided to go on a juice fast of sorts and got sick as a flippin sick dog last night. I do think I'm well enough to make my hair appt. today. Priorities you know. Just gotta get well for tomorrow- cramming a work day in to the am so I can attend this trial in the pm!!!

LOL, I did that once and finally decided it was the vodka that was the culprit, not the juice!

Can someone help me understand the nuances and possible implications of the Gus Searcy business? My questions...

1. Does the defense believe Searcy's information could really help JA? Are they accusing the prosecution of trying to "bury" serious testimony by Searcy that might bolster JA's self-defense claim?

2. Or is the defense just making a big deal in hopes of ensnaring the prosecutor in an obscure technicality that might warrant a mistrial?

T.I.A.!

This is really baffling to me as well. My only guess was, that they heard his story, and hoped that the judge might believe that the prosecution was in cahoots with CH when he texted GS.

I am just shocked that they thought that this guy's word would fly, since, and I mean this in the best possible way, he comes across as a Maximus Turdburger Colossus, with extra cheese.

I don't know but if it were something she did often I could see how she could have gotten a broken finger and marks on her neck. lol jmo

She could have broken her finger doing something stupid or simply tripping and falling. As far as the marks on her neck, could have been self inflicted, done with make up, or maybe Jodi liked dangerous sex. Isn't there something about strangulation (not to kill) that enhances the sexual experience? Or, maybe she like to play the dying game.

I think Travis was "manscaping" himself in the shower, in the pictures where he's sitting down.

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that is why he is sitting in the shower.

Don't take it personally, Anita. I am "that friend" who has been in the bad relationship, and I have checked out of many friendships due to embarassment, depression, survival, forgetfulness, etc, but NEVER out of anger or disappointment.

Unfortunately, I am disappointed in myself for doing so, which makes it harder to reconnect. But my friends are great people, so I think they will understand. They are well aware of my situation. You sound like a really good friend! :)

From the 48 Hours Documentary. I need to rewatch it, there are things that I missed the first two times watching it.

from the police report it said there was no bedding in the bedroom and they didnt find it until they went downstairs to the laundry room. The bed sheets were in the dryer. How did she slide him across the floor with the bedsheet if he started the load of laundry?
One of the roomates metioned the floor cleaner being moved and the funiture on the tile was moved and it was unlike TA to move furniture and not put it back. Why would she move furniture downstairs?

Jodi may have set it up to look like she was cleaning TA's house while he was out of town.
